If anyone is a developer or modder? Can you patch in NPC in the game once the build for a single player game like Witcher 3 is completed?

Didn't mean to be shallow, there's been some discussion about Witcher 3 amongst some friends and some of us were wondering if CD has any plans to introduce other characters before Mays release date.

No, it's not likely. The game is feature-locked, which means nothing new is likely to be introduced before the launch.
