Is it too easy now?

I haven't had a chance to try 2.0 yet, but one of my main concerns after reading the patch notes was that they were making the game too easy. Is this the case? Thanks for responses.

No, the combat issues have been fixed but it doesn't make it any easier, you just don't get as frustrated, Geralt reacts better to your controls and feels much more responsive. This is the first time when i found using bombs and daggers worked perfectly.

Actually it is way easier to play with Patch 2.0 than without any patch. Remember that there are always difficulty settings. So if the games feels too easy, switch to Hard or Dark modes.

My first impressions are its more difficult. But it is more responsive.

As far as I can judge, the controls are much and much better. More responsive,
Geralt isn't jumping all over the place anymore, because the targetting system choose someone behind the guy you originally were going for. The enemies however seem to know their combat as well, and they will perform parry moves or even nastier things.
So it didn't get any easier in my book :).

I'm actually finding it much easier - I started a new game to try out the new tutorial, and playing through the prologue now. It's been quite a while since I've played the game but even so I haven't died once so far. Playing on Normal. I'm thinking it's because the controls are so much more responsive, because I don't think I've magically got this much better at playing. :p

Imho, it's more difficult, playing Hard or higher difficult level I mean. Enemies are very fast and parry or avoid attacks quickly. They seems even smarter. Not just like in the first F.E.A.R., but it feels like that somehow.
