Is Path of Warriors an "acceptable" exploit?

Is Path of Warriors an "acceptable" exploit?

Numerous exploits have been tackled by patches since the release of the game; the cow hide and monster nest glitches come to mind. As far as XP gain is concerned, the fist fighting exploit appears to have been fixed with the recent patch.

However, despite the 1.10 change log stating that unwarrented XP gains from the Path of Warriors quest would be stopped, it still works as of 1.11. Are CDPR having trouble with this particular issue? Is it seen as some way to make up XP not gained (via bugs or otherwise) from other quests?

Please no "no one forces you to use it" comments as I have used it before on a playthrough and have not used it since. This is just a question from a curious gamer.

Unfortunately this "Path of the Warrior" glitch never worked in my gog Version 1.08.2 when I first found this exploit on Youtube and wanted to try it. It was because Geralt wanted to test a single sword, I guess it is called Mellith or something like that for Level 35.
But the HoS DLC solved the problem of "there is nothing left to do and no more XP to gain but but fight the endboss Eredin"

No this exploit never worked in gog version of Witcher, but for some people it worked as seen on Youtube. Maybe this Glitch is only on Steam or on PS4 version? I don`t know...

I have GOG version and it still works, however the loot exploit in monsters nest were removed.
