Is the Witcher scripting system similar to that of Neverwinter Nights?

Can anyone comment on the similarities (if any) between the Witcher's scripting system and the original Aurora scripting engine for NWN?

The Witcher uses LUA as well as NWScript. NCS files have the same version in their headers as those used by NWN2 (NCS V1.0B). Not sure about any details, but it seems triggers and events are there.

Yes, it's the same as the one used in NWN, with some changes here and there. See: http://djinni.wikia.com/wiki/Help_with_scriptingBy the way, everyone is welcome to help with copying scripting information (when appropriate) from NWN Lexicon: http://www.nwnlexicon.com/ to the Djinni Wiki (both sites use the GFDL license, so it's perfectly legal, just remember to credit NWN Lexicon).

I've found it helpful to read through system\scripts\nwscriptdefn.nss to see what functions are in and what is out relative to NWN, followed by skimming through the sources in Data\Scripts\inc to see how the new function calls are used.

Mostly the same but certainly some functions that no longer work the same. This can be troubling since the autocorrecting works so well. But the script editor is sooooooo smooth. *Looks at the beard above and wonders if perhaps a few good folks would be interested in getting together and making an updated lexicon*.
