Also looking for a way to reduce or eliminate the headbob effect. I always thought the effect was a bit excessive in this game, but it didn't bother me until I got a substantially larger monitor. Some other games I've seen this the effect is not as pronounced and limited to mostly up/down or side to side camera motion. This game's headbob effect has a substantial "round and round" motion to it, like too much vodka or something. Giving me a headache.

I am also experiencing this issue and its actually causing a headache to the point where I have to close my eyes when the character is moving. I've also developed a slight eye twitch and irritation/inflammation under my right eye. The game is awesome and addicting but I will have to stop playing because of this camera issue.I am shocked at the lack of response to this thread and to this well-known issue.

I'm adding my voice to this request for help. Headbob doesn't usually bother me but there's something about the swaying of the camera in this game that makes me feel 'queasy' and then break out in a prickly sweat after 20-30 minutes. I can understand headbob with a first-person view, but adding it to a 3rd-person camera is a bit bizarre.I bought the game almost 2 weeks ago and have only played a few sessions. I've just reached the Vizima outskirts but wouldn't have made it this far without the walk mod, which I applied on day 1 and which reduces the camera motion a bit.I'm not sure I particularly like the game so far. While the dialogue is interesting, though too-often cliched, the game has the same 2-dimensional, linear feel as Dragon Age (which I never finished.) Being hemmed in by waist-high fences that I can't climb over feels a bit naff. However, I'd like to give the game more of a chance but I'm unlikely to get far only playing 20-30 minutes at a time.

I just want to say, I am loving this game but this Headbob thing is making me sick! I can only look at the screen a few min's before I start feeling sick at stomach and even getting a headache after so long. I have been trying to just stair at the Map as I'm running to keep it from happening as much but it's just awful. My wife was looking at me playing the game with interest also but after a couple min's she was like, ack! lol Please either just disable this or give us the option to do it ourselves. =)

Same questions here. Gopher, one of the well known Youtube let's players, want to give it a shot, but the cam shaking is very annoying thing in The Witcher 1.
