Is there a way to detach my gwent account from GOG.com?

I do not wish to use gog services anymore, is there a way to export my gwent account before I close my gog account?

As far as I'm aware, no. A GOG account is required for Gwent, regardless of platform.

Why? Almost every online game on the market needs an account with the parent company to be played:

• "World of Warcraft" needs a Battle.net account
• "Runes of Magic" needs a Gameforge account
• "Lord of the Rings Online" needs a Standing Stones Games account
• "Star Trek Online" needs an Arc account
• "Gwent" requires a gog.com account

None of this should be surprising...
