Pressing Q will draw out your main steel sword. Pressing Q again will change fighting styleR will draw out the silver sword. Pressing R again will change fighting style.

Not really. When the location is SAVE, you cannot draw the sword.Maybe skilled modders can help you out. But why drawing a sword, when you don´t need it?

Hmm... for example because the Trade Quarter at night is labelled "safe", yet there are kikimores and Salamanders around just waiting to punch holes into Geralt? Safety is relative ;)

Well, every rule needs an exception, doesn´t it? XDIn this case you only can draw the sword when danger is near.

SO near in fact that you noticed 30 seconds ago, and it manage to make its way all the way over to you and wail into you at least twice before you can even get your sword out. I find it amazing Geralt has survived this long with relexes that dull.

I think the point should be why have such rule sets that guide us along like small children. If we wish to have our swords out and kill the wrong person and it ruins the game, so be it. Its your fault for being evil. But personal responsibility is a thing of the past any more in games it seems. (Yes I'm aware this is a extreme far sided view point, but it gets the point across.)

I'd love to have my swords out at daytime just so I can freaking move faster. Seriously he moves way too slow.

Well, there is a way, but it's long and tedious. You have to edit every module areas, and label them dangerous at all times, and you'll have to edit the ones in your savegame too if you're not starting a new game.I haven't found another way, but then, maybe i overlooked something..
