The bikes are best for FPOV, otherwise I tend to drive cars from 3RD POV as the view is terrible from inside.
Even with the Better Driving Mod, there are just some touchy handling cars, like the Quadras. Best sportscar/luxury is the Caliburn. Best handling cars are the Badlands versions like the Coyote and the Javelina. Those just grip, keep the accel down and tap left/right.
Of course, this could all be solved (somewhat) by allowing player AVs. But then NCPD couldn't warrant pursuit you (well, maybe the Wyverns could shoot at you and then there's the MaxTac attack helo) , and you'd probably get warrant stars anyway by landing somewhere where NPCs wouldn't get out of your way no matter what.
Overall, some of the vehicles are simply neat looking, but not recommended unless you enjoy frequent NCPD firefights. You cannot help but run someone over.

I almost won the first wave in first place. Then, I wiped out badly. I ended up last. I haven't tried the other two qualifying rounds yet. Claire said we really "sucked ass". LOL.
