Presumably the trees will come back next year, with whatever progress you've made. I don't think they've 100% confirmed that yet (if someone has fresh, official info, please share), but it's the latest I've heard they've been planning.
We have some info (that's what @Draconifors said) but we still are not sure what will happen for real because we can't trust CDPR as they changed their rules on the go too many times in the past. Also because their devs-community communication just sucks.
