Anyhow, I find weather manageable, but I guess that's mostly because I'm playing with Skellige.

SERIOUSLY? I really want to know your deck & your tricks too because I am too playing skellige

Let weather stay for a bit, use armorsmith before it gets too low, let weather work for one more round and then war cry it.
Also Gremist is extremely useful.

I tried all those stuff already but those are not enough for me to win as opp. is reaching pretty high strength with solid tempo & it's not even possible that evertime you get those cards in your hand :(

What deck you are playing ? QG or Wound ? or your own made ?

It's more like a resurrection deck with a lot removal.

... my simple solution is to add body to weather cards too like leaders...
This is great idea (weather spell cards turned into weather casters) ! Sure it promotes all decks to be a little more in control style but if weather has to stay I don't see any other solution.
Suggestion that FL should be hold few furns after weather showed up is suprising..., and even with 3FL + 1 silver mag counter is not easy to beat full epic wild hunt.
And where is fun in building decks from 21 cards as 4 are obligatory weather counters...
All was said before I just hope CDPR guys will notice TH3WITCH3R's idea.

Weather is fine and really is quite manageable.
Also brings a lot of diversity to the rounds. I'm playing my own ST deck with that dwarf leader.

If weather cards will get a body and str points it will get pretty weird with boosts, first light, and resilience. Unless placed on the opponents side but then again it wouldn't be very good...

Nilfgaard has those horsemen that can clear weather on their row.
ST has dwarves who can change the row of other units.
Monsters have their own crazy weather spells.
Skellige has the power to resurrect their units over and over gain.
Not sure about NR though, never played them.
+ 3 clear weather cards per deck which when needed can also summon a unit.
And there are also other cards that can control and clear weather by spawning first light.

Thanks for kind words and support... no matter what I suggested or any other solution from anyone but weather needs something to turn down.

I hope you know about new keywords so it's totally possible for cdpr to add few more for weather cards so that it's not possible to buff or use resilience on them but at least we going to have more counters for weather.

Weather is fine and really is quite manageable.
But, Skellige is absolute OP, Boots, incredible... :( It would want to balance it.

I spawned frost in a round, then a second one with a wild hunt thing, and then the other wild hunt thing i spawned didn't span its frost. And then the third wild thing didn't spawn it either. Is there some unwritten rule about weather capping it ?

The wild hunt hound spawns the bitting frost from your deck if you dont have more bitting frost it wont do anything

[Gold Weather Cards] Drought is way too overpowered

Even biting frost damages everyone only in ONE row by 1 per turn. By two ONLY if Nithral is present on table. Torrential rain damages lowest unit by 2, again only on ONE row.
Drought damages lowest units on opponents side by 3 every turn on ALL opponent's rows.
If you want card like that be viable, then make it applied on ALL rows. Both opponent's AND YOURS. Still might be a viable card for very specific playing strategies. But right now its just plainly way too OP.

RNR is the worst card at the moment, Drought isn't far behind. However RNR in a smart players hands is almost an auto win.

I like the weather how it is atm. It lets you impact the board and it can be cleared. The only problem i have with it is that the weather remove spell is worse than playing a unit to clear it and thats weird. You are putting a spell in to have that effect and that spell is always worse than a unit therefore the spell should be more effective when its online aka clearing weather. Buffing all units by 1 in every row where weather got cleared should do the trick.

The only overpowered weather card is drought. That card can piss right off. It affects every row and is CONTINUOUS? Come on CDPR. So broken.

Im not so sure about the state of weather right now. Can't quite put my finger on it but there is something amiss when some decks run 3-5 of them, including beloved RnR & Drought.

A special card heavy ST deck with Mercenary's seems to be able to control the spam and still stand a chance without falling too much behind. That is at least my impression, dunno if its viable, missing key cards. Would be nice if somebody can confirm that for me.

Gold weathers

So what does everyone think about the "gold weather" cards like drought? I've consistently had to pass a round when they come up, if I don't have a weather removal in hand, while when I do have weather removal, I wipe out a gold card's effects fairly trivially. This seems a little unusual for gold cards.

Hi, I played gwent closed Beta 1 Month ago. Hit level 20 and rank 9. And now the new changes in Open Beta are cool, but the new weather system is just annoying.
In closed Beta, u can just wait till oppenent passes and then try to win the game with Clear sky or clear sky when u wanted. It was an 1 for 1 Trade.

The enemy has to be care too, because weather affects his row too.. it was tactical.

And now they just spam Weather and the effect comes instant.. if u clear sky after, the weather still has more effect. if u cant conter its like lose hard.
I tried to conter with better placement ect or more clear sky.. using clear sky for 1 weather row is useless.. but waiting to long bc u wanna clear more is bad too.. and i cleared all and then comes RnR or drought = instant lose....... its no more fun!
