Issue with forum posting

So I thought I liked your forums, until I tried to post story content lol.

Nothing wrong with the 10K word count cap if it'd let me make another post following it. Can anybody help me out here? I know for a fact I'm trying to post under 10k words and it's saying I'm surpassed the word count. Maybe it's trying to merge with the post above? Is there a way around this?

That is exactly what it's trying to do. And there isn't any way around it, other than waiting for several days (I'm not sure how long exactly) so automerge doesn't trigger. I'll post in that thread of yours to give you another 10k.

I get it to avoid spam/bots but definitely gonna be a pain lol.
