It would be fun if the "PLAY" card on the main menu was the favorite card i pick in my profile

Sounds like a cool idea.
I doubt they would want to change that, however I guess that would actually be very amazing and then the play icon would have guaranteed variety.
I have to say that at this point I am really tired of seeing Yrden, especially given that Yrden is usually a highroll or bust card.

This is actually somewhere in a backlog of proposed features. Jason Slama mentioned this in a stream (no longer available), while chatting with one of his Gwent designers. So, it may, eventually, appear as an option. No promises, of course.

In Jason Slama's hour plus long discussion with fellow developer Ola (probably less than a month ago), it was revealed that they were considering implementing this feature, but it's not high up on their list of priorities.

Its not a new idea, ive seen it going around for months, perhaps even years, but its definitely a good one, i doubt anyone wouldnt like to see it implemented.

I'd like the spinning card when you wait for a matchup to be changed from Yrden to something else. Anything else... ;)

In the beginning of Homecoming and during beta it always was Geralt Igni, not sure why they changed it because GIgni looks imho a lot more impressive.

Would, in my opinion, incentivise changing the favourite card every now and then, which would be nice.
Could even do something like change it for every calendar season: Blizzard for winter, Thaw for spring, etc.

This is really a nobrainer.
Changes to the game like this one always make me wonder (as I'm a noob when it comes to actual programming) how difficult or time/resource consuming such a modification can be in practice. When Slama mentions that this is further down the line of priorities, I can understand that, but still - would it really require that much work to get this implemented?
