Horse DLC items will also be affected I'm afraid, as they also have stats.
Here's a list of horse items, the DLC ones are marked with (DLC).

Edited:
Add to this list the Skellige Horse Armor (Undvik items).

just a quick question. From what i seem to gather this issue only affects ng+ saves.
But what if i were to start a new NG+ right now (after the patch)?
Would my "new" NG+ also be affected by theese problems?

I am quite sure, that I didn't wear any DLC-Horse-Stuff aside from the blinders.

That's funny, but my lost saddle is not on the list. It was the one bought on Skellige and looked like a saddle complete with a blanket. It gave 70 stamina points, AFAIK.

So, I guess it's don't play until it's patched, (that's ok if it will be fixed today)? Or reinstall with 1.08 and use it until it's patched. Wish I saw this thread before I patched.

Ok, apparently the list in the link I provided earlier is incomplete. There's also Skellige horse armor to consider (Undvik items).

If you start a new NG+ right now as long as you don't do the affected DLC quests you will be fine.

Edit:
If you mean DLC items from your earlier non-NG+ playthrough then I'm afraid they will be affected.

Yes, and I mentioned it in this thread's original post. It's one of the DLCs.

So easiest thing to do would be wait for hot fix before playing to save losing anything :cirisad:

No, that's not it either. It was the 70+Saddlebag-Thingy from the Vanilla Version.
I also lost my Armor, which was nothing DLC-related.

It's not THAT big of a problem for me, honestly, but I just wanted you to know, that it might affect Items outside of DLC either. ;)
You are doing great work nevertheless.

Could you list which items exactly they were? Also, can you send a save to the support using the support form and referring to this thread?

Could I theoretically avoid this problem by reinstalling the game+DLCs?

For those interested in a more technical explanation the issue is related to re-balancing of items and their stats in NG+. The changes were applied in 1.10 to game files referring to the items. However, DLCs could not yet be patched in 1.10 (this is due to the game's builds' structure, which requires a new DLC patching system on which we are currently working).

Just out of curiosity why did you release 1.10 without having the other bit ready then? :)

Also a tip from personal experience. Assuming you have people relentlessly working on a fix right now, Friday change implementations are never good. Ruins staff's weekend if things go wrong ;-)

Keep up the good work though!

Cheers

I'm afraid this won't help, the problem is in the current game files that refer to items in DLCs.

It was going to be a busy weekend anyway, with Hearts of Stone coming on Monday night ;). And in general 1.10 is a necessary preparatory update before Hearts of Stone.
