Well, a lot of console users got pissed off because cdpr released pc patches before consoles. Keep calm, there is nothing you can change here.
Yup, I think everyone needs to calm down and take a few deep breaths. And stop attacking other people.
Can you disable auto patching on next gen consoles? That's pretty much standard procedure for PC users as this debacle has played out many times on Steam.
I disagree with the last 11 words in the above quote. As much that has been hyped up about the new patch & the changelog, not a single person expected it to create even more bugs. After 2 months of working on it, jumping up from patch 1.08 to 1.10, not a single thought was given to expect more bugs than solutions. While @Marcin Momot has come to announce a few things on these forums, Everybody else goes to Facebook & Twitter, including Marcin himself . I, like some other on this forum, do not use the new social media. So the Moderators on these forums are left holding the bag & take most of the abuse.
The point being is EVERYBODY thought that this was finally the fix we were waiting for.
As for the other posters venting and saying things against other posters is just plain rude. I completely understand the frustration, & I don't condemn their frustration. But there is a fine line between being upset & being totally out of line when writing a post that is laden with insults. All I am saying is, think about what the point of your post is before clicking "Submit Reply". That's what the "Preview Post" is for.
It is, but when you see the outrage regarding, well, a piece of entertainment, and you think about becoming a focal point of such emotional outbursts with issues being of less trivial nature... Just no.
It doesn't mean I don't sympathise with people affected by problems like that, but there is something wrong with the sense of proportion here. Anyway that's completely off-topic.
The problem is there for ALL NG+ games, even if you start a new one now.
If it's on PC, the hotfix is already there at Gog and Steam. If you're on console, you should wait.
If you play NG, everything is fine. If you start NG+ or load an NG+ save you will encounter the missing DLC items bug, and if you save your game those saves will be permanently affected. The hotfix will help with original (1.08 saves. It is available on Steam and GOG, but not on consoles yet. Hope this helps.
And a reminder. As forum moderators, we're not going to stop you expressing annoyance about the problem, but keep it civil and do NOT attack other people. (And that includes attacks made by those defending CDPR, so please report offensive posts instead of responding in a similar way)
If playing on a PC then there is a hotfix supposedly out there to fix 1.10 update.
If you are on PS4 or Xbox One, and have not had the automatic update to the game, you can start a NG+ with the past 1.08 issues.
If you are on a console, I can not stress enough when I say Do not be online when playing the game. It will automatically update & you will have the new problems that everyone else is having.

Thank-you, that is the point I was trying to convey in my previous post. It was a long post, but I was trying to say what you said.
If the guide book has out of date info then what is the point of the guide book. Besides I did a test when I saw my swords that high and went to kill some monsters (did not save my game as it is still from sept. 27th) and I received no xp for them at all and remained with 47 points which was what I had when I hit 70, so you saying there is not cap level is wrong and if someone else is having the same problem then maybe someone should look into it, and I am at level 70 in new game plus and it won't even add xp points to any monster kills I did after I leveled to 70, nor did it give me xp points before the patch came out for a couple of side quests that I did that I know I got xp for in the first run on new game, and as I said, I did a test when the new patch came, and it did not give me any points for the monster kills at all, even if you are over their level you should get at least 2 xp points I go nothing, so what you said technically is wrong, I just want to clarify this, but don't jack swords and armor up that were below or at 70 for no reason.
