Any news on ps4 hotfix?

Probably won't see a fix for us console users, (I'm on Xbox One) at least until Monday. Unfortunately HoS is expected Tuesday, so even then I don't expect a fix for the consoles. PC users can get hotfixes with ease. Consoles are a different animal. And I am truly afraid that HoS will be bug filled. I sure hope not, but it's not looking good.

Could be worse..... u might have found youself naked in front of the temple of the eternal fire....... now that would be akward! :smiling:

i gotta say, this situation is becoming quite annoying. i realise that with every patch there's always the chance of new bugs coming out, but this is becoming a bit of a habit. get it together lads!

at this rate, i believe i'll wait a few days before downloading hearts of stone (whch i already preordered).... I'd rather have someone else beta-test it, before starting to play.

Guessing next week for a fix for us console people. There shoud be a disclaimer when downloading patches not to play your game untill you goto the forums to see if you can actually play it.

Wonder what debaucle the expansion itself will bring.

A reminder - this is a thread about a specific issue, the DLC patches. Please do NOT use it to report or attempt to discuss other issues, it's pointless, and your post is more likely to be seen if you post it in appropriate thread.

Aaaaand - I'm dressed and geared up again. Thanks for the quick fix, CDPR.

But I also have to say - why not delay the release for another day or two and spend the additional time on more QA? There wasn't even a deadline (at least to the public) for patch 1.10, it wouldn't have hurt anyone. This way around, the newly introduced bugs once more cast a bad light on your company, which is totally unnecessary since everything would be great with just a bit more time for testing.

Sad to see, some mistakes like these bring up the worst in some people. I'm pretty sure CD Projekt Red worked really hard on this one and it bugs them as well, that there are things that simply could not have been found by a relatively small QA-Team. It's okay to be disappointed and it's okay to say this, but the aggressive manner of some people here really makes me ashamed. You can do 100 things right, but if a few things are wrong, people get really mean and disrespectful. And all that over a video game.

CD Projekt Red has my support as well. From what I have seen from them since the release; their responsiveness here in the forum or on the other media channels, their attempts to make this right as quickly as they can, and the amount of dedication that they have show towards this game has earned them at least in my eyes, enough patience to allow them to fix this as well.

I have been there with other companies, who cared less, made fewer attempts to fix and in many cases simply ignored problems as if they did not exist. With these guys you can see that this project means as much to them as it does to us. I am willing to give them some time to do what needs to be done before I start casting blame or believing that they suddenly do not care about the issues at hand.

I hope that they delay the release on the PS4 for the HoS until the 1.10 is repaired if that is what needs to be done rather than drop it onto a bugged update. I am not happy that the patch has had so many NG+ issues, but it is what it is and so long as I believe they are working to correct it I am not about to change my opinion of them. I also understand that it is easier to hotfix for the PC than it is to get one onto the consoles, so I fully expected that one to come first, as it did. I am hopeful that as soon as they have this ready to pass the console's requirements we will see an announcement of that as well.

To the crew working on this - best of luck, many of us still have faith in you and what you've done here.

BTW - can anyone tell us how to use the missing Qwent card feature? I have seen several posts asking and no responses yet. ;)

I'm not debating any of this, I'm just saying that by rushing releases they make things harder than necessary for themselves. Which is a shame, because they clearly can do better, as we have seen with the fixes for prematurely released patches, and besides it attracts all kind of over-entitled trolls, who make these forums a tiresome place.

you are way out of line, go and play other games that are totally broken and ditched after 2-3 months fiddling with bugs and stuffed with micro-transactions and pre-order DLCs and other crap and they are just a fraction of this game then you would know how decent CDPR is.

"Bethesda Softworks are better", LMAO, are you kidding me?! Skyrim is filled with bugs and more than half of these bugs are left without fixes nor workarounds. the modding community did a great job in fixing those bugs and doing Bethesda 's work.

i have completed the game twice and never encountered any problem, glitch or ground breaking bug, i'm really amazed of how ungrateful people can be, when you get fucked in the ass by Devs/publishers like WB, EA,.... then you would really know how decent CDPR is.

Okay, now I have to make a comment. Do you fail to see that the majority of the complaints are from people that are on consoles? Just because you have no problem because you're on a PC & CDPR releases hotfixes to PC only does not warrant you to critique the frustration of another poster. I totally agree that CDPR should have more testers to make sure the bugs are gone or, at the very least, minimal.

They did neither. So get off your high horse & play your bug free, highly modified game, and pay attention to what you post. Is this a massive game? Absolutely! But the fixes that are being made are for PC users, not consoles. The point that you make about them not being able to catch every bug, while that is true, the least they can do is not take 2 months to even address the public letting us know that they are working on it. When 1.08 came out, it caused problems, who got the fixes? PC users. 4 of them if I am not mistaken. And when we do get a fix, it has been worse than before. CDPR is trying to do too much all at once, and that is what scares me about the upcoming HoS. Is it going to make the whole system crash for us console users? God I hope not.

Does anyone remember the shit storm that EA/Maxis created with the release of SimCity a couple of years ago? At least the CEO of Maxis sent an open letter expressing her disappointment about the game they released. It took them a while but they fixed almost all of the problems. The key was the open letter to the customers.

All we have gotten is a few "sorry, we are looking into the problem" and "We now have a patch to fix the patch we just released(PC only). Not a single word about the console users. 67% of the sales were for consoles, but still no word on a fix for us.

So, look the other way when you see a complaint. 67% of the time, it's from a console user.

I am not asking for anything free, I already paid for both expansions, so they have me hook, line & sinker. I just want to play the game I have paid for on my Xbox One without having to skip things because it's bugged.

I plan to just play hearts of stone with my new game post game save and just make a new game+ save when the game is fixed up. That said people should understand the frustration for players who are well in to their new game+. This isn't such a big deal for me because I only cleared White Orchard on newgame+ but that doesn't mean I don't have sympathy for console players that cannot play their newgame+ without losing their gear.

Let's also keep in mind the absolutely STAGGERING size of this patch. I hear Poland had to build a new cloud just to support the size of it =p

The fix has been released already. Just download the new DLC Pack from GOG and enjoy your fixed game.

I hope us console users get a fix at least 'till Monday.

It will leave a VERY BAD taste if the issue persists after Hearts of Stone is released.

They can't keep doing this though, especially on consoles. They have an obligation to MS and Sony to release bug free products that can pass certification. Console gamers are completely dependant on the developer and have to wait far longer for fixes. Somehow, they need to beef up their QA testing. People on these forums have been saying it for years.
