Yes, for the witcher 2.Tommy said:This would be for Witcher 2 correct ?
The problem is that people do not try to look for these things and simply rely on what is written. There are many items in this game which are suppose to do certain things according to their desctiption but they just don't.slimgrin said:This is something I'll be aware of when using those items. We need to determine if everyone is experiencing it, or just some copies of the game. this is also why I wish the battle log would be stored in the character panel. It would be easier to ferret this stuff out.
I'm looking at the combat log.GuyN said:Are you looking at the combat log, or at the character screen? Because a lot of enhancements that show up in combat are not listed on the character screen. Also, some of the enhancement values on the Wiki page are out of date.
The gas WHEN IGNITED doesn't deal any damage or incineration. DD bomb is bugged.gaminallthetime said:About the Dragons dream bomb .... it releases a gas which ignites when you use igni so basically you have to use the bomb then igni sign to light the gas which causes a blast and incinerates enemies ....
And ive also noticed that the poisoned harpy claws dont poison the enemies ......
Agreed. Also agreed with the two dagger problems and the claw trap. The others may also be correct, but I haven't used them much.talrave said:The gas WHEN IGNITED doesn't deal any damage or incineration. DD bomb is bugged.
The incineration/damage you got is probably from the bomb/Igni's own aoe, not the gas. Try it with level 1 Igni and you'll see that igniting the gas damages one target only.gaminallthetime said:the gas incinerates enemies in my case ... they have to be in the cloud for effects to take place ....
I was using igni lvl 1 and ive only tried it twice and it has worked ......talrave said:The incineration/damage you got is probably from the bomb/Igni's own aoe, not the gas. Try it with level 1 Igni and you'll see that igniting the gas damages one target only.
Does it work for you in 2.0 with no mods? If so, you're ought to test this again 'cause, as you can read above, I'm not the only one with this bug.gaminallthetime said:I was using igni lvl 1 and ive only tried it twice and it has worked ......
Notice also that equipping the items does not increase the bomb/trap damage multiplier in the attributes screen.GuyN said:I confirmed the "no bonus to bomb damage" from Thyssen's Armor. With Grapeshot bombs, I consistently got damage no more than 55, even though the damage range is 40-55 (at level 1 Alchemy) and Thyssen's Armor is stated to give a 50% bonus.
I'm going only by what I see in the combat log for verifications. I'm not sure the attributes screen is complete or accurate; I'm more likely to believe that the combat log tells you what damage you actually dealt.talrave said:Notice also that equipping the items does not increase the bomb/trap damage multiplier in the attributes screen.
