Join Secret Society and Gangs

You should be able to join different gangs and secret societies-

Like joining an Akira Bike Gang, A Secret Hacker Group like Anon, or a more secretive Freemason/Illuminati group.

As long as there's some consideration and consequence added to whether or not one can join the group and what being a part of that group brings forth with the other groups, the main quest, and world reactivity in general.

Eg. No TES style "our 'cool' posse" factions that don't give a fuck about each other or anything at all, and of whom no one else gives a fuck about either.

Yeah, one thing I never liked about the TES series was that you could become the Guildmaster of every guild.

If that's the case, then I believe there should be a institute (similar to the X-Men's in Marvel comics, though this one being both Government and semi-Corporate ran) that secretly rehabilitates Psychos, so they may be productive recruits for the local Law Enforcement or Military (however, if the said Psycho is so dehumanized that they can't be brought back the more humane way, then they'd be classically lobotomized or braindanced by Cyberpsychologists to unwillingly do "good", somewhere along the lines of Clockwork Orange's protagonist) that any "Psychos" may join (both willingly and unwillingly, once they're picked up by C-SWAT or MAX-TEC members obviously).
