Just got The Witcher 2 and I'm stuck on the tutorial... Help?

And the Icon to Riposte never appears.... I've been trying this for 10 minutes now and I'm getting pretty annoyed... Anyone know what to do?

press E that will enable block and then you can counter attack.

if i am right you need to be blocking before you can counter attack. So just press E and then the icon will switch and press mouse button

Just press and hold E and wait for the atack and press the left mouse button.

You have to wait wen your Vigor bar is full or at lest one, and in blocking position you wait till your enemy star hes blow, and directly at that moment you will see that icon appearance...

Hey thanks a ton guys I was under the impression that you had to wait to block until a split second before they hit. Now I can move on. Thanks!
