Gear up for a return to the world of Cyberpunk, where only the ruthless survive and one wrong move can get you flatlined. This standalone story throws a fresh cast of characters into the darkest corners of Night City and brings a raw, gritty take on the world of the future. Brought to you by CD PROJEKT RED and TRIGGER, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is directed by Kai Ikarashi (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, SSSS.Gridman), with Kanno Ichigo (Promare, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) as the lead designer and Hugo Award winner Bartosz Sztybor as showrunner, story writer, and producer.

Want to experience Night City on a deeper level? Play Cyberpunk 2077 and carve your own path through the dark future.

If this involves a Media, like I think it does, I am very interested -- I mean, I already was very interested but even more so now. I hope they continue to take a look through the many different lives of Cyberpunk.

Is it Arasaka again? Really no other antagonist powers?
The fact we see Arasaka in one little sequence doesn't means they are the main antagonist. We see more Maelstrom for instance, some strange hacking (two vehicules at once? Many people litteraly burning due to their implants, some characters mentaly broken) so can be AI(s) or NightCorp...

Due to the importance of Arasaka in NightCity (at least before some endings of CP2077), if something major happens, Arasaka will be at least in the background, trying to get something out of it. So they can be also targeted.

The thing is... after the CP77 Arasaka can be at 3 possible positions.
1. The Sun, The Star, Temperance - Yori have full lead of Arasaka, Hanako is dead, Arasaka at the weakest point, cuz Yori si no good for the corp ideas
2. The Devil - Saburo is back in the body of Yori, Arasaka at the strongest point, Mikoshi is safe, Saburo is the lead, Arasaka ideas alive
3. The Tower - 2079, Arasaka is out of Night City because of something. Or someone. I mean Michiko, Militech asset inside Arasaka. Militech in at the strongest point.

Clearly, edgerunners is fighting Arasaka somewhere near Arasaka Industrial Park at some shots. Maelstromers somewhere around there too.

I can't wait!

I'm super excited to discover new characters and new stories, while keeping Cyberpunk main character, NIght City. I loved David as much as I loved V, but it's way more exciting to get a entire new "adventure" in Night City.
It will be amazing, I'm sure

I'm super excited for "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2"! It's cool that we'll be getting more updates soon. I came across some awesome details about the voice cast and connections to the Cyberpunk 2077 universe at cyberpunk edgerunners 2, and it got me even more pumped for the series dropping in Fall 2026. Can't wait to see how the new characters and stories unfold!
