kayran, i can't open the door

Hello,

I'm French, sorry for my bad english ^^

I've got a problem with the quest of Kayran, i find the osmorose for the precedent quest and i have to talk with Sheala and go to kill the Kayran, but when i arrive in front of the door for speak with Sheala i can't open the door, i unistal the game x5 but nothing to do, then i load a other save but the problem don't disepear.
I take a screenshoot of the problem with the quest description (in french but we can see : osmorose 1/1)
Furthermore i don't make the EE patch because when i do it the launcher don't work, so i don't make the 3.2 and 3.3 patchs.

Based on the floor I assume you are at the second floor and the left door.
First and foremost I actually recommend you download a later (or an earlier patch) to the game and see if the error remains as it can be a problem related to your patch.

You can manually download Witcher 2 patches (without the need of the launcher) at the homepage

Secondly if the problem still persist try getting a backup at GoG and see if this will help you out.

I've checked your save file and have solved your issue.

You need to complete the quest Indecent Proposal as it is a requirement for the story.
Do the quest with Loredo and you will be able to continue your game progress without any problems.

Sorry I didn't figure it out earlier, but it has been a while... Good luck on your future endeavors with the game.
