Hello, I have a problem with killing the Kayran. I can easily cut off the tentacles, but when it comes to riding one, a terrible lag hits me and I'm unable to fill that yellow line. I wouldn't like to give up on the game just because of that, so I hope someone who's not having such problems could help me out there.

Hmm I re downloaded it, and it works fine for me. Maybe something went wrong with your download. Have you tried to download the file again?

By the way you should place the file on your Libraries/Documents/Witcher 2/gamesaves folder, assuming you have Windows 7.

What might also be wrong is that it might be lower down the list of the save game files in game, since it is named Autosave_0001. I'm not sure about this one though.

Alright, give me a few moments, to try this again. I don't believe it's a version issue, since I found your save without a problem. Anyway, I'll be editing this post soon.

You could transfer all your files to a different folder, and then place my file on the gamesaves folder. That way, we can be sure that indeed your game can not read it.

There seems to be something really wrong. I moved all other files to my USB flash drive, leaving only your file in that folder, even restart my computer and it still shows only those old saves.
Maybe I should do something with Steam.. ? As I downloaded the game from there.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure if the problem is due to SteamCloud.

You could be using the steam folder even if steam cloud is disabled . Try looking in Steam>userdata>Your Steam ID>20920>remote . Are there any saves there . If there are just copy and paste the kayran save in there then exit and restart steam .

Thanks, it worked. Only thing is that I got a wrong game save (unless I uploaded a wrong one then, too.. yet still, the items I had there seemed too odd). If it was my game, not some other guys, then I sure uploaded a wrong thing.
Will try that other save he gave (first one), will edit this post after I find out hot that one is like.
EDIT: Yup, both of them seem odd to me. Not the game I remember.. Maybe it was from the link I uploaded, yet as I chose it from Thewitcher gamesaves folder, not steam, then it could have been a wrong one given by me (SORRY!).

Not a Kayran now (of course, it was nicely killed, thanks), but another quest I can't pass due to my slow clicking. The Floating Prison, where you need to save the elvish women (clicking, limited time.. same problem). Could anyone help me out with that simple quest?

I've seen one, where her gets to bang that elf. What's the other one? Any where you had to make some decisions that affect the gameplay? I'd like to know.

There's no decisions within that sequence, except the one where you decide whether to rescue the elves or go after Loredo, and you already made that one.
