First time in many years I have found a new game that catches my interests, and bought. Only to find out that I can not have the option to change movement key bindings From awsd to arrows keys, and other bindings are locked as well. This is not cool. If not corrected soon, I will request for a refund, and uninstall the game. I do not like being forced to play any game a strution way. I will wait until the next patch is released to see if the developers give players the option for full key binding customization, if not I will be requesting a refund.

After sleeping on it, I have requested a refund as well. The hour or so of actual gameplay I managed yesterday was very frustrating because of looking for the Fkey constantly. I will not fiddle around with the XML, my days of manually adjusting config files are long gone and this is no 3 euro indie game.

Not sure if reported already but i don't want to read through 20 posts of complaints: binding crouch toggle to ctrl only works until next cutscene or checkpoint load. After that it reverts to hold bind although the settings menu shows it correctly as toggle crouch

I dont know if this is where i should post this, but i play the game on my computer, which i use a wireless keyboard with one of those laptop touch pads for the mouse, so i don't have a middle mouse button, and i've been into my keyboards bios or whatgev you wanna call it and there seems to be no way to map a MMB, so i was wondering if theres a way that i can remapp the unequip feature for whole set clothes... right now im just to the part where keanu shows up after im "saved" by the japanese body guard guy takamaru or whatev. and i accidentally put on the full set of bandages... now im locked out of all the other clothes options and i can't remover the full set without hitting MMB which i dont have and can't figure out how to remap it.... plz help...

I'm a left handed (PC) player so i use a UHJK layout (with of course my right hand) instead of WASD one, but during the reconfiguration i got a "failed attempt" message on some keys like J (aka S) and K (aka D) and on some others. At the moment I will try to remap my Corsair keyboard, but this remain a HUGE limitation indeed having a high-end gaming keyboard it's not for everyone. I hope you can remove this small but also big limitation soon.

Thanks for the tip about the remapping of keys using the keyboard software. Have a Roccat Horde and this also provides support for remapping keys. Created profile for CyberPunk and seems to work for now. Hope the fix it in the game!

I use E for use/talk in every game, but I can't switch F to it as E is hardcoded with Cyberstuff and can't be changed.

I use a weird control scheme, esdf instead of wasd. I can't bind any keys to F other than exit vehicle. I always get an error saying there is an error binding to that key. I saw there isn't a choice the confirm key which is by default set to F so I'm guessing that is the issue.

This has got to be handled soon. Their hard-bound controls (which is what they effectively are, since i'm not going to partially remap my keys, i still only have 5 fingers on my left hand, last i checked) are completely fucking up my gameplay - it goes against all my instincts.

Sorry I am a freak, I don\t use WASD for moving. Instead I use ESDF. But in 2077 the Key F cannot be change binding. It\s suffering for using WASD to me. And some Right-Handed player also need re-bind the Key F
Please change this. This is not difficult to change, still it is very very very helpful to the freak like me and Right-Handed player.

I also do not use WASD for movement, and need to be able to use F for my movement. Please add an option to fix this!

You are not a freak dude, changing key mapping is the very basic first step to playing games specially FPP on PC, that WASD stuff supposed to be just an arbitrary assignment of keys so the players can override it with their own personal layout, plus all the other keys. The fact that CDPR has messed this up is laughable and shocking.

It makes me laugh to see that I perhaps am the freakest guy here :
Since 20 year I'm using "i, o, p, j, k ,l ,m, ù, ^, * and $" and many other keys of the right side of the keyboard.

Needless to say, I am totally unable to play this game which I have been waiting for for 8 years.
I know it’s not very constructive to say this kind of thing, but in 2020, it’s obviously a shame for a AAA game not to offer total freedom on key binding.

Nothing wrong with your preference, it's the developer's fault to not take this simplest thing into account before releasing the game.

How to remove a weapon on the keyboard without opening the selector? Can you do it with one button? Some nonsense.
In the menu, some items have sub-items. For example, the "equipment" has a "backpack" and "cyberimplants". They also cannot be opened with one button. And if you are already in the "equipment", then you will not be able to scroll with the buttons "1" or "3" to get into the "backpack".
PS. PS. I learned how to simply remove the weapon)) Press Alt twice.

I wonder if CD Projekt RED doesn't have left-handed employees? for all 7 years of development? and there were no left-handed testers in all that time? or are they just ignored? or just left-handers playing on a PC? My God, but it's all already happened with the Witcher 3... CD Projekt RED, what were you thinking?! 7 years old!!!

my key mapping reverts everythime I restart the game, reload a savegame or even randomly in between, on top of this I cannot effectively remap sprint and crouch, I really need to toggle crouching - didn't you guys already have to deal with this in Witcher 3?!
