Greetings everyone,
So, after some research I found a workaround which works like a charm.
To use it, you need a decent notepad to edit *.xml files such as
Notepad++ as soon as you've done it look for your Cyberpunk install folder. In it you'll find a folder called
r6 which contains
config.
As an example it's
E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config in my case.
Here you'll find several files. However only two of them are of interest for us.
inputUserMappings.xml and
uiinputActions.xml
These two files contain the base keymapping of the game. Open them using
Notepad++ and use the
ctrl+f function. You can now search or, in our interest "replace". it is important that you also include the brackets ("xyz") in the following step by step instruction.
Before you start, I recommend backing these files up. Copy and paste into a backup folder or whatever you want.
1.) ctrl+f and
search for
"IK_T" and
replace with
"IK_G" //note: the G key is currently not in use at all
2.) search for "IK_F" and replace with "IK_T"
3.) search for "IK_E" and replace with "IK_R"
4.) search for "IK_W" and replace with "IK_E"
...
you get the gist of it. just repeat these steps until you're satisfied with your mapping. Replace those keys with whatever you fit's your playstyle.
Set the "write protection" property on them as soon as you're done to keep Cyberpunk from changing the files.
You may need to repeat this if CDPR updates the game.
Good luck with the above

So long

PS: attached a zip file that you can unzip into your
E:\Steam\steamapps\common\ folder with my versions of mentioned xml files. It's an "ESDF" setting
