I don’t have the money for a gaming pc and I love this game but it feels clunky on controller. It would definitely be better if it had mouse and keyboard support. Please add it !

Is there a some kind of petition for this kind of things? I guess lots of ppl (including me) would want this feature. While I played a game on controller it would be so much more comfortable to play it with mk. Also this feature is already added on xbox and how difiicult is to add it on ps5 too? If you could provide some feedback in this thread it would be much appreciated. Maybe there wont be a mk support and people are hoping in vain

Hello, could you support this functionality? I know that a lot of people need this. In gratitude, I will buy the Cyberpunk version with all the extras :howdy:. And I'm sure many PS5 users will do it. Besides, it's technically possible. And the latest version of the PS5 pro has already been released, so I think it's time.

At current point of my life I am not able to play games on PC. Just bought the PS5 and Cyberpunk as my first game on the platform, and I've discovered, that M+K does not work in the game. As oldtime PC user, for me the only proper way to play and enjoy any FPS, is with mouse and keyboard, hence my question following. Is there a plan to add this feature to the PS5 version? If so, it would be absolutely amazing, but if not, please at least just let everybody know.

I also want to contribute. Dear cdpr team, please add mouse and keyboard support for cyberpunk on ps 5. I would love to experience the fighting dynamics with m+k but my PC is too old. You would make a lot of people happy with this. :)

I have a huge request: please add keyboard and mouse support. For me, this is a huge obstacle to fully enjoying this magnificent game. It shouldn't be that difficult to add such controls for a game that's already on PC, but thousands of people are waiting for it. Thank you in advance!!!

PS5 hardware and firmware actively limit or block third-party adapters (for keyboards) from functioning fully with native PS5 games. It is part of Sony’s design choices for the console. This is one of the reasons I do not get into these "walled gardens". However in this case I think it is not the PS5 that is standing in the way instead the games DEV for some reason have not implemented it. I would love to hear their reasons. I am betting it is not just becasue they are "lazy". Some technical reason of some kind?

All Stalker, classic Doom titles, Call of Duty, WOT, Quake 1/2, and so on, no problems with the keyboard and mouse. Some selective technical factors.

Just to be clear, I was talking about third party adapters. Sony did not like you using them so they block them.

  • Cronus Zen — this is the most prominently cited device. After the PS5 system update version 24.01-08.60.00, Cronus Zen reportedly stopped connecting to the PS5.
  • BeSavior U5 — some reports list this adapter among those affected alongside Cronus Zen after the update.

More broadly:
  • Many previously popular third-party adapters that allow non-official controllers (for example Xbox controllers or keyboard/mouse combos) to work on PS5 are no longer functional for PS5 games — the console now effectively requires a genuine or fully licensed controller for PS5-native games.
  • Even devices emulating or “spoofing” a PS5 controller (via a stolen or leaked authentication key) were blocked. That is how Cronus Zen and similar tools got disabled.

I got the game on day one, December 10, 2020, together with my PS5 and the Collector’s Edition, and played through it completely using a controller. I painfully pushed myself to finish the game with a controller.I forced myself to play through the entire game using a controller. Back then, I promised myself that as soon as the PS5 upgrade was released, I would play Cyberpunk a second time.

After the first two major patches, I had really high hopes. When Xbox received this feature, I was fired up again and gave it another try—without spending hours googling or checking YouTube to see if it was actually true.

With Phantom Liberty, I once again hoped that this feature would finally arrive. Luckily, I didn’t buy it.
Unfortunately, I’ve since given up, and my PS4 version has been sitting unused on the shelf since April 2021.

If a patch for this were to be released, I would immediately buy Phantom Liberty and play the game again.

What’s the big deal. Most of us have computers and consoles. 200$+ name brand controllers shit the bed or get viral stick drift syndrome without predisposition. The people who made this fantastic game aren’t some [...] are they? Then why make it so hard on us all. Most of the people wanting this have had problems like this or have multiple gamers in the house and are more than casual. I myself have gone through too many game pass, countless keyboards and would still be a pa5 advocate had they not programmed the anti control bridging software in there update last year. Just makes it harder to be a Damned Fan when they take your foam hand finger, jersey hat and Hotdog money then tell you that you have to where clothes and make purchases to watch the game.
