Killing In The Name - Bugged Router in first part

In the quest Killing In the Name you have to hack into a series of routers. The first router was bugged for me, I couldn't hack into it and it wasn't interactive at all. Luckily I had an auto save from right before I began the quest and thankfully on the 2nd attempt it worked, Johnny Silverhand appears by the router and it was hackable this time.

So yes, the first part was hte part that bugged out on me, the router on the wall of the apartment building on the fire escape.

Hi Folks!

I can't progress on this mission because from the first moment I interacted with the router, it doesn't have any interaction. The Bes Isis chain of events cannot be completed.

Same bug for me unable to interact with router - My setup: AMD R5 3600 , AMD Vega 64, Windows 10

As others suggested what worked for me was ... creating a new game save, entering under the underpass, and staying close to the van that Johnny appears on
