Not by name, no, but she is alluded to several times throughout TW2. Having her appear in TW3 won't be like she's coming out of nowhere, and I agree with others who have said that you simply cannot end Geralt's story in the games without having Ciri being a part of it. There would be pitchforks galore, I'm afraid.mothra said:you are talking about the books, not the game. In the game Ciri never gets mentioned (not in name), only in the tavern discussion in TW1.
Or even Prometheus of Ridley Scot, but overall feels epic to meMarcAuron said:The start reminds me of one of Mansel's pieces for the Fountain. The first half, to much drums, it's good but nothing like the first game or even the second.
Well, I preffer memorable songs rather than epic ones. For example:VJETAC said:Or even Prometheus of Ridley Scot, but overall feels epic to me
She is mentioned by name in TW2. I just don't remember if it was Zoltan or Yarpen, but it was one of them who says that's for sure. Someone clarify?Kindo said:Not by name, no, but she is alluded to several times throughout TW2. Really? It's been too long, then, for I can't remember that. Maybe I'll come across it during my current FCR2-playthrough.Adityathewarriorwithin said:She is mentioned by name in TW2. I just don't remember if it was Zoltan or Yarpen, but it was one of them who says that's for sure. Someone clarify?
I think it was yarpen when he told about how geralt took care of triss when they were traveling together (blood of elves?)Adityathewarriorwithin said:She is mentioned by name in TW2. I just don't remember if it was Zoltan or Yarpen, but it was one of them who says that's for sure. Someone clarify?
Yes that's fine, I played my lord knows what time earlier in the year and now can't remember stuff myself.Kindo said:Really? It's been too long, then, for I can't remember that. Maybe I'll come across it during my current FCR2-playthrough.
It must be Yarpen then, when telling that story, most likely.Kindo said:I think it was yarpen when he told about how geralt took care of triss when they were traveling together (blood of elves?)
Or it was geralt himself on the prision barge

So with everything already spoken, Ciri in TW3 is a given. I just want the father-daugher duo to kick some ass together in the game!
yes I missed barge and read it later so edited.alextyc1 said:I meant the prison barge the ship

You serious? That sounds just as "epic" as TW3 Beginning Theme! If I replaced that video with the theme, it would give the same feel. Nothing much memorable about it...JMSLionheart said:Well, I preffer memorable songs rather than epic ones. For example:

It is called "Becoming A Legend" by John Dreamer. I find it much more closer to the original soundtrack from TW 1 than the two songs released so far. That's the kind of music I would like for TW 3... memorable songs.
I'm afraid I have to agree. It does seem very much like what one hears in a Hollywood blockbuster. I hope there's more that captures the mood of TW1 and the drama of TW2.Kodaemon said:Not a fan of the TW3 music so far. The only good bits are when the folksy instruments come on, the rest is a forgettable Hans Zimmer imitation.
I'm sure there will be. I mean, it's the exact same composers of TW2. And Adam Skorupa did most of the music for TW1. We have only heard a very very small amount of pieces from the game, those that are supposed to be "epic" as they open the game, no in-game pieces that are supposed to give more to the atmosphere. No worries, people!slimgrin said:I'm afraid I have to agree. It does seem very much like what one hears in a Hollywood blockbuster. It is the theme used in the dev vid "the Beginning".

I don't think those two songs suit well for The Witcher's vibe.JMSLionheart said:I expect something closer to this for TW 3:
