THIS. 1:35 to 2:00 is my absolute favorite part. Definitely has that Witcher games feel.

So do I, but it only lasts for 15 seconds. The rest of the track sounds like your typical "epic orchestra", choir and all. I'm convinced that we'll have more diversity at the end of the day, but so far I'm very underwhelmed. I miss the style of TW1's soundtrack dearly, but then again, I'm known to often say things like "Back in my day, things were better."

I have an idea for next killing monsters. In the Edge images that roamed around via PMs a few weeks ago ( ) there were a couple of shots from different angles of a Geralt render.

I think releasing that render in video would be cool, a rotating panoramic shot of that 3D model please. Thanks.

I agree with you, although, the theme was probably made thinking that most of the time people would speak on top of it, and also trailers have quite special music different from that in the game later.

The thing im really worried about is the sounds and instruments theya re using, all very common stuff, and likely thats how the OST will be, if old things truly werent better, maybe i'd stop saying it. :)

They nee to give us more songs like this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YpNs9oAIRU

granted it gets pretty fast paced after a couple of minutes, but it still feels natural.

Or something like the kaer morhen music.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6uVeCzUhw0

It fitted so well to the witcher universe that i couldn't get that song off my head when i was reading the novels.

Ciri luned me might be the only track so far that still has the tone of the Witcher. The other music is sounding too grand and bombastic, like a series of movie trailer sound bytes. This is baffling because I love Skorupa's work. But something seems off.

I remember firing up TW1 for the first time and having chills run down my spine when the main theme kicked in. I could literally tell what the game was going to be like at that point. I got the same sense when I heard the theme for TW2, that slow and steady rhythm building up to the vocals. I'm not getting any of that yet...

I don't know.
The only thing we are really sure about is that vikings are fireproof in TW3.

That's because Adam Skorupa doesn't work well alone.
Without Paweł Błaszczak (specially) most of their compositions seem off.

An example of the combo between those two composers:

I think I've read a comment from Paweł himself that said he composed 'Ciri Luned Me' in his free time and we shouldn't expect it to appear in the game. On the other hand, I can't find it anymore (it was on YouTube).

Paweł Błaszczak is some kind of genius. It took me a while to realise his music was what was missing from TW2; had to compare the soundtrack credits.

Is Pawel working on TW3? They did say they wanted to make a return to the sound of TW1. Hiring him would be a good start.

We don't know exactly, my bet is that he is not working with CDPR right now, they did hire Rozenberg for a reason.
But I would love to hear Paweł's genius in TW3.

The Beginning main theme was composed by Adam Skorupa and Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz.

Yes, there should be one in a few hours from now.
I wonder what it could be.

If it follows the current pattern, its probably a wallpaper. Of Ciri. One can hope. :p
