Krayan fight not getting spacebar prompt after filling the qte bar

I admit I have a lowend system which can run todays games inc Rift and quite a few others. However after three weeks of waiting two to three hours for a saved game to load I happened across the fact that this disappeared once I disabled full screen. Now however my problem is at the Krayan fight I kill three tentacles I ride the tentacle fill the qte bar but no spacebar prompt at all?? help plz. After spending three weeks tweaking to where I can actually play and enjoy the game to get stopped at this point is driving me insane plz help

Disable difficult QTEs in the options.

I was having the same prob ....... the thing was that by the time the qte bar got filled i had flown to the other side and back to the place where you jump on the tentacle..... even though i was pressing the mouse button as fast as i could the space bar would not appear ,,, what was happening was that the game was responding to the clicks after a short interval of time ,,, it wasnt instantaneous ... so i just lowered the graphics and resolution to minimum and then did that part again .... i completed the qte bar quite earlier than before and then the spacebar prompt appeared ....
Long story short just lower the graphics settings and res to a minimum for this part and then play it .....

previous post is an easier way to do it though

The problem is you were fighting the wrong boss, its supposed to be a squid thing not a crayon.
