Lack of variety in Sex scenes

all i know is that it's very wasteful to throw out 16 hours of produced material, if that were an accurate estimate given by cdpr. i can only hypothesize that they might include it in a patch later on as a way to avoid the initial media spotlight it likely would have generated.

We feel the same way about politically correctness, but like I said sex in the middle ages in Europe probably wasnt that intense. And Its not censored.
But hey, if they make the sex-scenes more interesting that ok, but if I had to list up stuff I wanted to improve... the sex-scenes would be pretty close to the bottom of that list.

Facial animations could have done with being a bit better too, yen looks rather bored during the Unicorn sex.

I can understand the brothel scenes being reused but not for unique characters like Triss, Yennefer & Keira.
Triss fans must be disappointed especially... I think we can all agree that her love scene in TW3 sucks compared to TW2.

And for those few people here saying "This is Witcher 3, go watch porn", let me reply that this is not a good argument. The sex is a huge part of Witcher 3.

By analogy, you wouldn't tell a player to go watch an action movie, because that player wants more fight scenes.

The thing that annoyed me quite a lot are the thongs. I mean first they look completely out of place. Second, it's hard to imagine someone having the need to cuddle after sex but feeling it would be necessary to put on a thong. The thing I found hard to believe was the elven girl at the passiflora, who isnt wearing anything under her skirt, take of her skirt, put pants on, take pants of to have sex, put pants back on immediatly after, then go hang out upstairs with no pants on.

Well we knew that was coming as they're narrowing it down by necessity. It just makes sense at this point in the story, that Triss or Yen are ready to settle down with him.

I meant something different. there were dozens of sex partners in TW1 apart from Triss or Shany.

That and the fact that sex as a reward for completing a quest is an automatic censor job here in Australia. Devs said ages ago they were trying to avoid it and I bet this is the reason.
Its the main thing that has changed the feeling of this game for me.
I have recieved enough crowns, runes and longswords from quests. I miss the unexpected special thank you for helping someone out.
Thats were the variety is lacking for me.

I have just started playing through W1 after completing the main quest in W3. Will be starting on W2 after next payday. Also working my way though the books at an alarming speed.

I have to say I think the saucy bits in W1 so far are hilariously weird. Blurry red footage and a suggestive playing card. I thought they were quite tastefully done in W3.

My only plea would be to please give poor Geralt some nicer underpants. Those bloomers ..... Poor bloke.

Don't really care about topic, and pretty much satisfied with how these scenes are presented in the game.

- Both scenes with Yen are just great, zero complaints
- Sex scene with Triss is a bit crumpled, but that 'lighthouse cipher' joke is very good

What I really like is a ROAD to some sex scenes. Especially dinner with Keira, dialogues with Carthia and Jutta, and even some courtesans. I appreciate that CDPR were more focused on that stuff, really.

The sex scenes are just bad. Why even tweet "16 hours of motion-capture" a few weeks before the game releases when except for 1 scene every scene has the same 15 seconds animation with the same body models. Either almost everything was cut or the tweet was bullshit. I definitely don't believe they did 16 hours of motion capure for maybe 1 minute of unique scenes. Even if you count in the foreplay, there are not more than 5 minutes of cutscenes, That's just lazy. Additionally the scenes were toned down in comparison to Witcher 2 and are very close to what Bioware did with Inqusition (though the bioware scenes are unique as far as I know). Whoever was responsible for the sex scenes did a very bad job.

If this game lacks sex scene variety. It should also lack variety in monster types, NPC face models, voices, as well as quest types.

I don't feel like anything is lacking. To be frank i'm surprised players aren't complaining about reusing assets, like Dragon Age II fans did.

It's ok for me really, I don't really see why sex scenes should be extended and worked on as a priority over all of the above mentioned.

Good game, feels fine.
