Lag after patching to 2.0

I've done multiple playthrough's on TW2 with the standard high settings and had no issues. However now since I've patched it I'm getting a little graphical lag and it's really annoying. Anyone else getting this or is there a possible fix being worked on for this?

Update:

Sorry forgot to mention I'm using an Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 I have the latest drivers installed and also made sure the AA and Filtering are set to Application Controlled. I also disabled blur and depth.

I'm getting the lag also.. When I get home I will run FRAPS to find out for sure.. I have an ATI 6970.. And an i7 950 with 6GB of RAM..

I seem to be getting lag on my GTX 460 (proc: Q9550) as well. I started a new game (to try out Dark Mode) and the prologue is crazy laggy which it never has been before. It lags no matter what graphical settings I select.

same here i3 de;; inspiron 580 radeon HD 3650 4 gb ram Win7-64 -so not expecting great things but was working better in 1.2 than any other patch. yes i did turn it all down and fiddle with the resolutions and other goodies to see if it would get better - nope didnt
