Indeed vextalyst. The problem is the server. So, in order to launch the game from the laucher must be disconnected from the network until CD Projekt Red solve the problem. Health for All!

Even tho the launcher works and the game starts there is only music and a black screen, I still am unable to play the Witcher 2 like I was last night, on a system that has not been changed at all since last night. To recall, an issue that has existed since the game was 1st introduced is what??? This is an issue that has existed in different forms since day one of the games release, I think it is time this was resolved once and for all.
Me too. If I'm connected to internet launcher crashes, but if compter is offline it's work well

Still no fix for this issue?? I am in the same ditch as Devlon, I can't go any further with the game install as I need to be connected for the activation code as well.
Oh...My..... this brings back bad memories of my DragonAge play through, am I going to have to play TW2 dis-connected as well ? I hope not, what's the whole point of it all if I'm not going to be connected.
This is the only thing I hate about games that they want a connection, but even it wasn't I still need that initial connection to activate so it's a doubled edged sword.
Can someone please get the server up, I was having such a good time I think I having withdrawal symptoms, I'll have to start over as my un-install mysteriously ate my saves.
Awesome looking game though hope to get back to playing again soon.

Same here, I hope this gets fixed soon. Damn myself, I reinstalled the game because of the launcher crashes and now I read that everything would be fine if I didn't delete everything -.-robert1a said:
