Launcher not working

Hello guys! I downloaded the enhanced edition ( I have the game on retail edtion) on tuesday and the game started normally. I just went to play it again today but the launcher is not working ( I press : '' start the game'' at the launcher window, it shows then the wolf medallion, you know, but the game won't begin, it keeps showing the wolf head... I also tried to start the game from bin/ witcher 2 exe , with no luck. i even put launcher exe and witcher 2 exe with admin rights, but nothing happened with this as well. I have the GoG backup too ( haven't downloaded it yet though) Should I reinstall it?

Not just yet . When patching did the patcher give any errors ? If no then take screenshots of all your installed programs and either post them here or email to me .

Well, I think I noticed an erroe when the update finished! I took the screenshots , I press : ''instert image'' but nothing happens :/

ok so I have been trying to run the updates for over a week. I have downloaded it 3 x plus down loaded the individual files 3-4 times. I have been unable to get a good set of the files. I am very frustrated. I have been playing computer games since 1986 and have never had this bad of a problem. Please explain to me how I can solve this problem.

Start by verifying the files and given MD5 numbers found here

I will do that when I get home from work. I just deleted it and I am now re installing the game for the 5th time. Why not just fix the auto updater to disable it. That way I am not forced to keep trying to update and instead I can just enjoy the game which is why I bought it in the first place. This whole process has me very frustrated.
