Launcher Options menu problems, missing dlcs (patched to Enhanced Edition)

So I recently upgraded my Witcher 2 retail install (which was previously patched to 2.0) to the Enhanced Edition using the EE downloader/patcher. But I'm having some weirdness with the Configurator. First of all, everything is displayed slightly differently than it's supposed to be. I'll post a screenshot to show what I mean, but the names are all slightly off. Instead of "Texture Memory Size (MB)" I get "TextureMemoryBudget". Instead of "LOD Distance" I see "MeshDistanceScale". Also, when I click on "DlcSettings", none of the DLCs show up. I get an error message reading "NoOptionalDlcsFound". Also Text and Voice have no options in the drop down menu.

I've tried removing the config folder in my documents to see if having the game replace it with a default version would help, but it didn't. In fact, the launcher wouldn't even start. I had to manually copy the backup config folder from the install directory myself. And even then, nothing changed. Still the same configurator issues, and still no dlcs. I checked my CookedPC folder, and the DLCs seem to be there (troll.dzip, dlc_finishers.dzip, etc.). But they don't show up in the menu.

I can play the game, but the graphics seem to be a bit...broken. Textures are so low in quality and blurry that I don't even think the options to downgrade to this extent exist in the launcher. Changing the options seems not to work very well, and I imagine it related to this whole configurator thing.

Also, the launcher doesn't seem to like to patch. It saw and downloaded 3.1, but since that I haven't been prompted to download/install any of the later patches. So there's that.

Anyone know what could be going on here? I'm running Windows 7 64-bit and if it's relevant, the game is installed to drive D (my OS is on Drive C, which is a small SSD, so I don't install games on this one).

When patching did any errors appear and did you install the EE language pack that is available from the same link ?

To be honest it sounds like something went screwy while patching . If you have no bandwidth issues you can claim your digital backup copy from GOG with all patches already included using your cd-key .

No, there were no errors (at least none that showed). And yeah I checked the language pack (english) during both download and installation. Everything seemed to go correctly.

I do actually have some bandwidth limitations, as well as a pretty slow connection. The real problem is my ISP refuses to ever tell you how much data you have even used. Which is why this is such a bummer. That's what I get for living in the mountains, I guess. I have registered my GOG backup now and it's sitting on my game shelf. I suppose I'll have to bite the bullet, it's just a matter of when.

Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated.

Centurylink. They're sort of the worst, but there's no other option here. So I'm left to wait and hope they take it on themselves to upgrade the speeds sometime before I die.

Here are some applications that can monitor data usage .

Also check this thread for how to verify the checksums for the EE patch to ensure that you have the full files .
