Alright there is one screenshot from Skyrim on PC version:

http://oyster.ignimgs.com/ve3d/images/08/65/86535_CompositeMountain.jpg

This one looks awesome!, but from far looks like some kind of concept art picture, but if you zoom you can actually see in game textures!...

Bad Good graphics in skyrim i believe it's not an issue, because i am going to mod this game beyond recognition as everybody did with oblivion, dug's is the real problem .I still remember oblivion day one and still never patch the game in the latest Patch .In fact-may god forgive me- i crack the damn thing even thou I've got it legit and it work fine with it.I hope for skyrim to be more polished at launch day..

In my opinion graphics playing important role!, I mean Morrowind and Oblivion time is gone, besides in that time development team focus more on content!(and there was reason!), but now is different, with new graphical technology you can achieve both things...

I love the colors in both but the creature it self could surely use more work. It just does not seem "realistic" to me compared to for example Witcher 2 the nekkers now THEY look more realistic

How realistic can an undead creature look?

On topic: I'm looking forward to getting my Skyrim i less than 14 days - it's gonna be so great :D
I love TW2, but it's got waaaaaay too many cutscenes, beautiful graphics doesn't mean alpha and omega in games, and Skyrim will be totally openworlded, something I truly desire in games.. So Skyrim - YAY!

To me the cut scenes were the "most" rewarding thing in the game but i guess it is one of those thing where you just can not argue what other person might like :D

When i think of the undead i'm thinking something more then that creature over there but once again it comes down to taste one person might like something else and the other something else...

Any chance you might write a small review after you get the game? Because i am torn between 2 games as i said The Skyrim and The Assassin's Creed Revelations so mind helping me out?

Nothing major just your thoughts on the game that is all

Most cutscenes in TW2 are interactive, which places them under the category of 'gameplay'.

I may buy a game of the year edition, but only if it is on a crazy sale or I grow bored of Star Wars the Old Republic (I have betaed this game and LOVE IT).

I bought all the DLC for the Xbox version of Oblivion, then had to buy it again when I built a new PC, and then two weeks later the GotYE came out for 39 bucks... Granted, I could have paid more attention to the news.

Here's the problem. Oblivion and Fallout 3 are highly moddable, but it basically takes a great deal of work and patience to get a bunch of mods to work together. I made a few pieces of clothing in Oblivion and that was that. However, if you can get them working, a modded Oblivion is a way, way different and better game.

If Skyrim doesn't have mods I am not buying it, if the mods are just as brutal (to get working together) as for Oblivion, then I may give it a pass regardless.

The game will look good for the PC if there is modding because someone will make it look good.

Yet another game without DX11 full support, just like this game it is very disappointing. They will pander to the console market too much which will ultimately cost the game in performance and appearance in my opinion.

BF3 DX11/Crysis 2 are very attractive games-much more so than Skyrim because of this.

You spend so much money on a computer and in 2011 are expected to deal with companies using DX9 as its primary support. YUK. Step it up.

They will never touch the greatness of Morrowind and Daggerfall again , Oblivion was- well unfortunate, but Skyrim looks even more simplified, the main problem being that Bethesda gets away with things many others wouldn't,horrible story usually main quest since Morrowind ,poor combat and interaction animation , bad VA,lack of detail, since there is nothing else it will be a decent exploration/ hiking simulator , but visually -well remains to see if there will be any additional effort for the PC version, most of the images on the internet are bull shots anyway.

There WILL be additional graphics settings for the PC version, higher resolution textures and more eyecandy ... Todd has said so many times... :)

@Elves4Me2: Yah sure, I'll do that - no problem :)
But I bet you there's gonna pop up lots of reviews on the gaming sites - they're sometimes worth checking out too!
There's already preview reviews out there!

I personally love the fact that they stepped up the AI big time, and the combat too (dual-wield with magic and melee, that kind of stuff), sounds very promising!

Oh well, I'm on a Dragon Age: Origins playthrough until 11/11, just got Flemeth and the High Dragon down so now it's time for me to level up so I can wear my dragon scale armor haha

The game will look average even on PC. The lighting & textures for example are.. not pretty.

Well modded version is almost always better!, especially graphical improvements...

Same thing was with Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout and most likely Skyrim as well(pretty much all Bethesda games are tweaked!)...

And I think this is part of the reason they won't pay much attention to including special features for PC: they can always rely on the modding community to make the game better by leaps and bounds. TES games were never very strong in the story department, their beauty lies in the sandbox aspect (and this is why I think it's ridiculous to compare them to games such as The Witcher and Dragon Age, which are story-intense) and the fan community will always bring out the best out of the engine.

That said, my love for TES died after Oblivion severely disappointed me, but Morrowind will always hold a special place in my heart :')

Watched the skyrim footage ( the one showed at quake-con ) ...
the graphics were average .... whats worse was the waterfall ( it looked completely fake ) .... then enemy movements while in combat werent that great ....
and the horse .... the horse was like a fat ass .....
another prob was the hair ( especially on the mammoth with the giant ) they dont even look like hair ...

Although i like the concept of dragons ( infinite no of them in the game ) and dragon shouts ,, the way the map has been shown and improving the skill system ( where you kinda look at the sky ) ....

And whats with the menus ? they are good ( completely optimized )for a console but for pc ( mouse and keyboard ) i dont think it would work .......
