Apparently the statue wasn't the only merchandise that some lucky folks got their hands on. I can only hope that Witcher 3 sells well enough that it brings a CDPR store into reality.

I just want to comment on the bribery idea. While I completely agree and support that it should not be as it is in the industry, we need to acknowledge that pretty much every company/developer/studio does exactly the same. E3 is a big example of that. They "all" give away gifts, and a lot of free stuff.
Some big names even go far to the level that they organize special events in 5-star hotels with 5-star food just for the media. And yeah, they even invite, host and everything that you could imagine of for free. That's why there is a big controversy in the industry. That's why a good number of people claims that gaming industry media has little to no professionalism. It's the culture of that which is wrong!
If we want to talk about what has gone wrong in the industry we won't finish talking for days, but I do believe in CDPR. I do believe that they know the essence of gaming, that's why their games are DRM-Free. I do believe that they love us, and I just want to remind them, while it's absolutely true that the power of media can draw huge crowds and make something out of nothing, we're your direct target audience. We are the ones who bet our money on your products no matter what, and we are the ones who altogether make even more powerful impact and that is 'word of mouth'. In the end of the day, it'll be just another game for the reviewer, but for us, it'll be the story that we won't stop bragging about wherever we go, and whoever we talk to. That's what always has more truth in it.
Another quick reminder, I know you can't satisfy everyone, that's impossible. That's why you try to do everything you could in gatherings, and conventions such as Gamescom, but always remember, CDPR, a small portion of us that is so fortunate to be able to attend such events.

@Bellator Pius Gratus You summed it up in a perfect way. Thank you! but you shouldn't have wasted your time on such a thing. She has absolutely the worst attitude in an interview that I've seen ever. Even if the question are really bad, and the level of knowledge is low, you must be respectful! That is the least that you are expected to do at least as an adult, let alone as on of the media! I could forgive everything else, but not uneducated, unprofessional, irrespectful manners.

The statue box was Fucking bulging out of the packaging box. Hand with griffin was broken off, griffin teeth were broken, sword hits were broken off.
Anger. Such anger I have right now.
But thankfully they're clean snaps and gorilla glue might do the trick.
Damned seller now has a smudge on his perfect positive history though.

Hm, too be honest the original packaging for the statue doesn't really look that good or fitting. Too much space in the package. Maybe it was the postal service throwing the package around....

No, I forgot to put that the statue packaging was not great, but it was also bulging about a half inch on both the top and bottom in the USPS box with no packing material. Fucking cheapskake seller.
