Leuvaarden Chapter 1 Items

This mod makes Leuvaarden in chapter 1 (he's at the inn during the day) sell all armour in the game, plus all swords and daggers and some unique items such as werewolfs fur and strigas heart, plus some runes and meteorite.Just placed this mod in your data/override folder and start a new game.Be warned though, i've added a sword which doesnt work properly (it's a big black splodge on the buy screen). I recommend you don't buy it, though i've never tried. I would remove it, but i don't know which item it's supposed to be.Hope you enjoy****See post #12 for most recent version***

the problem is, at the end of cpather 1 i have about 3k :/could u make a version which would lower the prices of the raven armors, ard'aenye, mahakaman rune sihil, and dol blathanna rune sword(cause these are prety much the only u'd want to buy cause u cant find them (early) in the game )

go on Mod Editor Forum, on the topic about the Dice Poker : Opponent 2nd Roll, I attached a modified mg_poker.2da file so the max bet is higher than usual : vs. Mikul in Act I, max bet is 500. So you earn 1K+ at least, in case you win the game : repeat 5 or 6 times, meditating for 24h near Haren's house, you're insanely rich ;D

Where do I add the mod, to Data or do I have to create A new folder under Data?

As you want :either in ../Data/or in../Data/_templates00/if you prefer better sorting of your files, in case you got a lot of'em for the mods.Personnaly I got all .utm files (only for vendors, shops ..) in ../Data/ and all others in subfolders. Makes it easier when you got several different mods installed and running.

or you could always make an 'override' folder, if you haven't unpacked your files yet.

Can the mod work without starting a new game, eg with a save game? I'm in the middle of chapter 1 and would like to get another red meteorite (rather than wait for chapter 2)...

It depends on whether or not you have shopped with him before.If you have, you've got to start a new game, if you haven't, he'll work

Updated:Added all steel swords (got rid of that horrible black splodge), all knives, the two unique silver swords and enough witcher silver swords to create every rune version. http://rapidshare.de/files/39163408/Leuv_items_1.3.rar.html

There is a savegame editor in these same forums. Look for It, its form the same guy who made the NWN savegame editors.

Just found out, it does work in Chapter 3 aswell, and therefore, i'm guessing, in all other chapters.But don't forget, you must've not talked to him before you add this file, else it won't work.

I know, but the editor does not edit/give any weapons.Which is the main point of the file.And also for the sake of those who don't like external download links, i've posted the file below, hosted by the forum instead.

Please don't get me wrong but don't you think this mod kind of spoils the game somewhat ? I mean in chapter 5 why would you go looking for the armour if you already have it?

Well. Maybe... but if anyone has the patients to gamble and/or kill enough barghests to earn the money in chapter 1... More power to them. I'm so impatient I can't usually bother to get 5000, enough for the first armor upgrade, before I leave chapter 1.

It's called the free trainer from cheathappens. I would change the cost of the items, but that requires more fiddling with text files so that i learn how to do it.And at the moment i'm saving myself for the extended editions new content (bloody delays).
