Limit hairworks fps

When setting the game to 30fps the hair is much more fluid than at 60fps, but then there's the problem of being at 30, which is not really great for a game like this

So, what I'm asking is, is there a way to limit just the fps hairworks runs at? Maybe somewhere in the .ini?

I think you misunderstood me

I have almost constant 60fps with hairworks on, but at 30fps hair movement is much more fluid than at 60, where it's stiffer.
After playing AC:Syndicate where the cape was initially at lower fps (locked at 30), I thought the same was maybe possible for hairworks here

I indeed misunderstood. I've never heard of this problem, can you confirm it stays there when you turn all graphics settings to low and leave hairworks at the highest?

Hmm. That's something I'd have to look into. Don't have the time right now but I will once I do. However, I remember Essenthy copying some part of a hairworks mod into STLM a while ago, making the ponytail slightly longer and react differently so that might be it.

it is not possible to limit only hairworks to 30 fps ....
The reason why Essenthy's hair seems to move more is because he lowered the stiffness damping of the hair -

I have the same problem in the game.
