Here are some more bugs that were passed forward to me by a redditor:
Graphics:
Graphics:
- Shadows (among many other things) have short accurate render distance. What i mean by that is that i would walk ~5m away from a spot and the shadows on that spot would morph and change.
- Other objects like npc's, props, floor pop-in very obviously or would take a long time to load.
- Sometimes, intractable npc's like trades are unavailable to interact. Player has to walk away or meditate to fix it.
- Swimming (when trying to swim back to the surface) feels very unresponsive. Sometimes, i can just hold space and swim to the surface and sometimes it need to hold W to even swim.
- While swimming, you can't get out from water on locations that seem fine. For example, geralt can't grab a ledge on a rock, the surface is too steep to get out of water but doesn't seem like that.
- While galloping, horse will sometimes stop because of a small prop in front of him.
- While galloping, when you jump with the horse you don't keep your momentum.
- When starting to gallop stamina will drain even though you are still not galloping.
- Let us rebind heavy attack to "hold mouse1". Sometimes i would hold shift to run towards enemies and end up doing a heavy attack.
- Also, let us rebind counter-attack so that you need to be in parry mode and then click mouse1 to counter. Maybe that was gameplay decision that you should't be able to parry while counter attacking but it feels more natural to be in parry mode and then counter.
- The "momentum time" should be shorter. I do like the fact that you gain momentum while starting to move/run but it should be much faster. I believe this would help with all the "unresponsive movement" complaints as this is one of the reasons why it feels so unresponsive (for too long we have played games where you don't need to gain momentum)
- Weapon degradation should be a bit slower and it should have states 25% 50% 75% 100%. I failed a quest because my sword was on brink of 50% ,i had no repair kits (it was early in the game when i just got to Velen) and it became red, it became useless pretty much because i couldn't kill the monsters in time to save a guy.
- Weapons that we get from a guarded treasure should not be 2-4 levels below our level. I returned to a lvl18 guarded treasure once i was lvl15 and got a lvl 12 sword that i had no other use than to dismantle it or sell it.
- Sometimes when interacting with an npc, you may get a black loading-ish screen.
- Game hardfroze, had to manually restart PC. Happened randomly but like i said, could be shadowplay.
- Similar thing again but this time it crashed to desktop. Again, could be shadowplay because later when i went back shadowplay had some weird icon and i was getting 15fps. But considering this is an nvidia title i expect shadowplay to work, not to crash my game.
