Loading times and loading screen

Any way to reduce the loading times ? i have 8GB ram, quicksave takes millisecond while loading times are about 10 seconds if not more!

Also is there a way to remove the loading screen cutscenes that explains to me about the events so far ? I think this is one of the reasons loading takes more than it needs to ... i prefer the loading screen that comes after i DIE, which is just text and loading circle

Get an SSD and install the game on that. Loading times for me are 5 secs or less.(game is on an ssd)

Annoying Speech everytime i load

This is just annoying..

Everytime i load the game i need to hear a speech from some dude, plz anyway to get rid of that, just annoying after 10 + loads hearing it same amount of time.. !!

Plz anyone can help ?

I was kinda annoyed by him towards the end too, I was skipping through Novigrad and Skillege and he kept saying the same thing, it can really be annoying especially considering the fact that without it the game seem to load faster (ifyou die, he won't appear when it reloads the last save)

Yeah I noticed that, we could really use a toggle for it. More options are always good.

Agreed. I have the french version and his voice-acting is cheesy. There should be an option to toggle it off.

I dont think dying factors into it.
Not everyone has the time to play for hours on end, some people only have time to play occasionally, and for that reason is likely to load often.
And since those videos are the actual loading screen they will play every time you load a game.
It does get annoying in the long run, and I for one prefer the traditional loading screens, the one you sometimes get a glimpse of right before loading is done.

Yea, CDP should restrict the recap to the first time you load up the game. I'm fairly negligent, and I often find myself needing to load an earlier save to prepare for battle. I've also gone through a few random crashes. The recap is just insult to injury at that point.

Or give us the option to show up after X days of not playing or hell, give us a little prompt at every load screen "press [key] to play recap video."

cant work out if this humour or not, the load screens in this game are amazing and fast. too fast in fact, I never do get to read those notes on the screen. Maybe I am just saying that as someone coming from GTA V on PC, where you have time to go get a drink and make a sandwich and come back and possible still have to wait. :lol:

You're best bet is going to be and SSD. They're expensive but worth it.

The only long loading screens I see on PS4 are when you load most recent save after dying which probably take around 20-30 seconds. Fast travel loading within the same map is incredibly quick though at like <5 seconds.

Also it seems like the game loads during the short cutscenes recapping events. By the time they're over, the loading bar is almost filled for me.

Impossible. I use the exact same SSD and it takes about 5 seconds. Using my previous HDD however, took about 20 seconds.

As a few others have mentioned, I suggest getting a SSD, if you can't for whatever reason, maybe ensure you're keeping your system maintained.
