LOD question

If there a way to further increase the LOD besides the stock value ? Because it's jerky i walk on the forest and i see tree branches creating in my filed of view.

You can turn it up to "very far", just don't expect miracles. LOD is a bit flaky in this game, with a tendency toward fairly near and very noticeable object and shadow pop-in.

I've managed to fix the foliage rendering issue increasing a little the mesh distance scale to 3.0

Also there is a way to increase the shadow LOD rendering ? Some shadows appear just after i am near the specific object.

I dont think so, but you should get this if LOD is a big issue for you. It was found out that the EE patch actually changed the color of one grass type making it not blend in with the other grass types so you could actually see it loading just a few feet in front of you. This mod fix's that grass types color and makes it blend so the loading is not as noticeable/annoying.

There are probably some bugs in shadow LOD. There is very noticeable shadow pop-in, which is what I think you are seeing. I have seen it especially in cases where the sun is low in the sky and the shadow is cast by a distant object.

and I don't think things will change this year, since the REDkit might just be in beta 'till maybe mid-January or something... hopefully this can be tackled after it's launch
