Lofoten Glitch

Hello. I have a problem. As I run through the gate between the cemetery and the village of Lofoten on Skellige, my monitor stops responding to anything. It loses the signal or the screen changes its color to pink or gray. It occurs only in one place. In the background, I can hear a mistake, but I can not read its content. Music is still working.

My PC:
CPU: Intel i5-3550 3.30 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970 non-oc Drivers: 26.21.14.3086
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
OS: Windows 7 64 bit

Please help.

I recommend checking out these CDPR support suggestions:

The topic may not be the same but the suggestions work for all sorts of technical issues. Especially installing Microsoft Visual C++ could be a good idea. And closing all background applications that are not essential.

Verifying/repairing the game with GOG Galaxy or Steam is often worth trying too.

The game is 4 years old. So there‘s not likely going to be an update any time soon. If there are compatibility issues with certain headphones types, for whatever reason, it might be the best idea to not use them.

This is not happening in the whole game. In this particular place, the cause must be different.

Well, you said it happens when you connect the headphones. And if that‘s the case, it‘s best not using the headphones.

Also make sure you didn‘t give Geralt too much alcohol to drink, because that too can affect the view for a couple of seconds...

I solved myself, but thank you for your help.

I updated the drivers for the sound card, the game does not break anymore.
