Somebody please make a game where Nosferatu hangs modern vampires from their sparkling balls.

Nosferatu and every character in the Legacy of Kain series.
Square Enix could reboot the franchise but instead they will turn LoK into multiplayer game and sad thing is i started gaining hope for them, after excellent Tomb Raider reboot.

Seriously CDPR needs to buy the rights and make Blood Omen 1 into 3rd person on Red Engine, that would be sick.

Too late for that bloke (bloke?). He's already bitten. Living dead too, I'm pretty sure.

That's a new game based on the World of Darkness? That would be great - since nothing came out after Bloodlines in those settings. I hope it's not going to be some locked up DRMed stuff.

From Wikipedia:
The game follows the story of Eric Bane, a newly turned vampire suffering from AMNESIA. He learns that his transformation is not complete and that, if he does not drink the blood of his sire, he will mutate into a mindless ghoul.

The review sounds way mixed up. Unless the game is not even based on WoD.

The environment looks plain and boring. The details in the graphics look non existent and the gameplay might be interesting. The effects seem non existent either and yeah... that's about it. Geralt, what happened to you? :(

Now that's what I'm talking about!

Imagine that, or a game based on Das Cabinett des Dr. Caligari.

@ Volsung and Slim: Skyrim Dawnguard DLC.

Moreover, it makes sense to dislike the game because the type of vampirism included doesn't include the type from your preferred vampire lore, but that doesn't mean that the Anne Rice-ish vampires are any less valid representation of this type of mythic creature.

It was an alright reboot. Just not what I'd call excellent i.e. not something that would earn back my trust. The Nicolas Cage gif was there as an exaggeration, not as an attempt at douchebaggery, sorry if you took that the wrong way :p

Nosferatu looks to cute to me. Like an adorabl muppet. He really reminds me of this Count von Count from Sesame Street.

Pre-ordered.

Can't get enough of stealth games and after playing Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines I'm craving for more vampiric aweomeness.

Doesn't look like World of Darkness to me. All the powers that Geralt... I mean Eric uses in that trailer are nothing like the powers of the WoD vampires, not to mention that the entire plot of the game does not fit the rules of WoD either. Vampires cannot become ghouls. Vampires are undead, ghouls are not. Undead ghouls are unheard of and probably impossible (in WoD). An incomplete vampire turning into a ghoul? Nope, doesn't sound like WoD at all.

It looks like someone took WoD ideas and twisted them around.

The only similarities I see between Dark and WoD is the terminology. Terms like Sire, Childe and Vitae are obviously taken from WoD, but that's where the similarities between Dark and WoD end.

WoD is all about the different vampire clans and covenants, and the politics between them. I see absolutely nothing of that in this game Dark.

Terminology is a big part of the settings. The derivation is very apparent here. But I don't like that they didn't follow the settings while borrowing the ideas. That blows it IMHO. I'd like to see more games really based on WoD. It's somewhat strange that nothing was made since the Bloodlines.
