Lost skillpoints!

I might have stumbled upon a bug I think, when trying to add two skillpoints to "precise blows" in the fast attack skill tree just now, none of the points were added to the skill line. The points seem to have been lost because they are not available anymore.
This is the first time that something like this has happend and I am not sure why.
The only thing I think of that might have caused the problem is that I was swimming at the moment, but that sounds a little far fetched imo.
Anyone know what's going on?
