I know my PC ain't no hi-end, but still 20-30FPS? Really? Is there any chance to change that, or should I sell my sh-t for 1K GPU?

PC - 16GB DDR4 RAM, ASUS 1060 6GB STRIX, AMD RYZEN 5 3600, SSD, PSU Corsair 850, motherboard asus tuf gaming 450plus

So, it's a decent gpu.
But the min spec is a 470.
The 1060 is basically a 480.
Your gpu is only 35% better then the min spec which would give an average 30fps on low.
So I'd expect thos numbers if you are playing on medium.
But you should get 30ish fps with mostly low settings with a bit of med in there.

But again not saying your cards bad, it's just the min specs for this game are quite demanding.
I'd expect some improvements as the game is further optimized

You GPU is in the requirements as "recommended" meaning it should handle the game 60 fps on 1080p high.. perhaps some settings on medium.. But as the game is terrible unstable the requirements are no longer valid. you will have too wait until they fix consoles. next 2 months there will release 2 large patches that they said will make base consoles playable.. of course PC will have some improvements in the 2 large patches but its more focused on the consoles and after that they will start improving pc version with more focus...

I doubt that CDPR would ever use recommended for 30 fps "PC" 😂 yes even people with 3080 have 30 fps and I with 2080 ti have sudden fps drops between 25-40.. the game is terrible optimized.. i stopped playing because of that and will wait patiently 6 months and even if its not fixed by then i will wait 1 year..

yeah wait a bit more you have medium end pc it will support you long enough.. because thanks too scalpers even 2080 ti street prices went up.. so wait it out until scalpers are dealt with or if you find a good deal anywhere get it. :) never pay too people selling overpriced pc components.

Honestly the best you can do is to lower your target resolution and play around with the setting to get a decent framerate you want to play at. I have an i7-7700 cpu and a shitty gtx 1060 3gb gpu and can run the game with a mix of high and medium setting (1 or 2 setting may be set on low) with an targeted resolution of 90 and an minimum resolution of 75.

I get anywhere from drops to 30 fps to a stable 60 fps at times. I'd recommend looking at one of the performance guides on the steam community to see all the shit to change in your Nvidia Control panel (If you have an Nvidia Gpu) and then download Yamasha's engine mod tweak thing.

I have a similar experience but with a Ryzen 3800X, 32 GB (4x8GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 memory, and an ASUS Strix 1070 8GB. I can only play on 1080p low at 30-40 fps on the more demanding areas plus the nvidia driver likes to crash sporadically.

From fellow gamers it seems like AMD is more stable (less glitches and crashes) and has better performance/buck. (At least going by the ProtonDB reports regarding AMD 5000 series GPUs vs nVidia 20-series GPUs) I will be trying to get a used 5700 XT when the GPU scarcity situation settles down a bit. (It helps that AMD MESA drivers are open source and have gotten fixes/enhancement from both devs and the community)
