Low performance on Windows 8

Hi everyone,

as the title says, i'm trying to play TW2EE on Windows 'hate'.
I got a brand new laptop that seems good enough to run this game correctly.
It is the Asus ROG G75VW
core i7-3630
8Go RAM DDDR3
GeForce GTX670M

Of course i have tried from the lowest settings to the max ones, i lowered the reoslution, uberdude off, AA off, everything deactivetd..... and nothing changes, the game is lagging.

I have my nvidia drivers up to date (306.97), i also tried the beta ones but they are incompatible with ma card.

Are there any known issues with this damn W8?

Ok, thanks for the info (lucky you!).

I tried this noon to install the nvidia beta drivers 310.33 and it worked properly. It is only the 310.54 that i can't use.

The perfs are a bit better but i still need to be in low spec.

Could my hardware be too weak for this game?

I had the same problem on win 8 eventhou i have a good system
the problem for me was nvidia 306 driver
instal a previous driver and also right click on launcher icon>properties>compatibility and check win 7 or win xp

that fixed it for me

I am not sure about how to fix it in Windows 8 but i can confirm that with a G75 you can fly in the game at high settings (without DOF and UberSampling).

The game runs fine for me on win 8 too on high settings, while you can some better specs than mine. Try disabling UberSampling, as you need a super computer to play with that on

Geeez,what an idiot!!!
I've tried a lot of things before returning to the 310 beta drivers. I couldn't understand why this time i was able to play in high settings without problems... until i unplugged my laptop...

So : plugged i can play in high with good frame rate
unplugged : even with low settings and in 640*480 (!!!) i have few lags
