[MAJOR SPOILERS] Anyone else thinks you're missing a choice here?

Stop reading if you have not finished the main storyline. Now. Go back. Really.

Were is my option to fight/kill Cirilla to prevent her from entering that portal? I told her I forbid her to go inside but Geralt just stood there doing nothing!
Could we please get a chance to fight this asshole teenager? I couldn't even kill Avallach!! Pretty please?

Geralt doesnt want her to enter because she might die - would not make any sense to kill her just to prevent her from going o_O youre weird man.

She happens to be an adult who can make her own decisions not an 'asshole teenager'. I would like to kick Avallac'h's ass however.

Geralt doesn't want Ciri to go into the portal because he is terified of losing her, there is no way in hell he is going to fight or kill his own adopted daughter - not in a million years.

I know, I loved the story, it's just that I was roleplaying a very selfish geralt that killed everyone that lied to him or used him up to that point and not being able to kill anyone in this cutscene just felt weird, like not what my geralt would have done.

Great game CDPR!! definately 10/10 when all major bugs are gone!

Because ultimately you're playing Geralt and there are things that Geralt would not do no matter what you as a player might desire. You have to remember that Geralt is only your character up to a point, in this roleplaying game you are playing someone else's character and part of the experience is putting yourself into that character. Geralt would not commit the act you are speaking of, therefor it is not an option.

So...you don't want her to enter in the portal because she might die...then, you want to kill her because she didn't listen to you when you wanted to save her.
This is not a selfish Geralt. This is a schizophrenic Geralt.

No, I wanted to kill her because she lied to me and used me to get the portal opened. I couldn't care less about her dying inside the portal.

Yes .. this is really necessary choice - to kill own daughter.. really bad storyline if there is no chance to kill your most beloved ones.

I am also missing choice to commit suicide .

Sorry, but I don't understand those desires ... there is no option to murder man, who brought world into war (for the third time!!!) even, when you are best assassin and alone in room with him. There is no straight answer, which could show desire to kill that brutal idiot Radovid, who just wanted to kill thousands of people just because he is crazy and he has some cpmlex from childhood. But you are missing a chance to kill someone who is more important for Geralt than himself?

Well I killed Keira and would have killed Philippa and Yennefer if given the choice. Triss is cool though.

It's not your daughter, witchers are sterile.

I wanted to enter the portal too in order to safeguard ciri's safety.
Geralt will not kill his own daughter in a million years, she is adopted but he treat her as his own. from what i gather he will fight the entire nilfgurdian army to save her.

This gave me a good chuckle, thanks :D

Geralt actually did commit suicide in my game...literally five minutes into it, he fell off the balcony at Kaer Morhen although some say he was pushed...

I could just imagine the following conversation though..

Geralt:: "Ciri!"
Ciri: "Yes Geralt?"
Geralt: "You know that I have searched through many realms to find you, endured all manner of hardships and acquired a lot of new scars on my rather gnarly physique..."
Ciri: "I know Geralt.."
*sound of blade being drawn*
Geralt: "I`m sorry Ciri, but some things really cannot be forgiven.."
Ciri: "Geraaaalt!!"
*splat noise*
