Make me feel like cheating or just a bug?

I'm lvl 15 first playthrough on PC and did a quest lvl 22!?

I went to Méandres. That village in Velen infested with high lvl (25) gouls to the south-west. I was able to do it because (somehow) the gouls got chain stun by my Silver sword. Even worst,,, Same thing with the Ekiemme vampire boss inside the tunnel below the village. I just spam my fast attack while he has he's back to the wall. He did nothing since he was chain stun by every single attack. Why?

I feel really sad. I like challenge and my game is set to difficult. I wonder if it's some sort of bug? But it definitely kills the fun factor of killing a powerfull foe.

Any idea about what could have made the fights so easy like that?

Had it happen with Imlerith last night on NG+. but he just glitched out and stood there, taking damage and dealing none. Killed him for free then re-loaded and did the job like a professional. You will need to adopt the same tactic for some monsters as they do stun/glitch out every now and then. It is just the game. But if you feel cheap, reload and try again!

Yeah, silver sword stunlocks most of enemies, also sounds are missing.
It is most definitely a bug.

I have tried the boss again today with my old save. Maybe I got lucky because it does not seem to stay stunlocks like yesterday. After 3 or 4 hits on him, he hit me back and move. I tried at least 4 times to stunlock him close to the wall with no luck.

If I feel like the stun/sound bug happen again (if it's really the case that happen to me yesterday), I will simply reload my game. Thks Twistedoutlaw
