map boundary

I keep running into this bug at the spaceport — every time I go there, the game teleports me to the other side of the bridge. Anyone know how to fix this?"

I uninstalled the game and all the mods I had, but I still got the same problem.
In order to get ride of all the mod data in the game files (and so possible issues caused by mods), you might have to perform a clean install of the game. And even by doing so, if you load a save on which mods were active, there are good chances you will still encounter issues (mod data could also remains in save files and there is no way to remove them).
On side note, I could be wrong but in vanilla (without mods) this area (space port) is not accessible outside of the quest during Phantom Liberty, isn't it?

That red text is different from the others... Anyhow, reinstall all your mods and then install this mod:
It removes all boundary teleport walls, and thus should effectively solve your issue. Let us know if it worked out.

Friendly warning: In case you're going to continue playing the game with your mods, do NOT continue doing so with the game-save of which the mod were removed! Continue playing with the game-save of which your mods were still installed.

Thanks for the help. I deleted all the game files, uninstalled it, then after reinstalling I did a Steam file verification and loaded an older save without any mods installed to test. I got the same issue. I also downloaded the mod from Nexus but that didn’t fix it either.

This first happened to me during the mission with Songbird when we take her to escape to the moon, but it also occurred once at the second Aldecaldos camp—though that problem disappeared after I restarted the game.

The only solution I found was in the Cyber Engine Tweaks mod: there’s an option that disables the game from teleporting you to the other side when you cross the map boundary, but you still get that small loading screen which is annoying.

I tried several saves across my 550 hours of gameplay, tested with and without mods, and I’ve never had this problem before. I noticed it only started happening after I began Phantom Liberty, because before that I had gone to the spaceport to explore a bit and it didn’t happen.

Very awkward the mod didn't help but CET's Teleport Cancel did. Either way, glad you were able to solve your issue.
