M'ap Tann Pelen bugged

Has this been patched in the 1.05. Like this sort of thing is just running my experience with the game itself.

There is a variety of bugs I spotted but it doesn't bother me if it doesn't effect my gameplay this is I can't get past it.

For me 1.05 did not fix it.

It's so annoying will tried street cred there level 30 nothing.

if that doesn't work and still no patch by January I'm just gonna go request refund. clearly this wasn't tested before release

Same issue please fix. I can't call, I did all activities in Pacifica no reaction from Mr. Hands. Please let us know how high on the priority list this fix in relation to the upcoming patches, if won't get fixed soon please at least give us the Console Command to force past it please.

Really could use a fix or a workaround for this, even my oldest save file is not far enough to try re-doing this quest and I don't want to restart a playthrough that already has over 60h in it.

I started the M'ap Tann Pelen mission, called Mr. Hands and did tasks while waiting for his call, and I eventually got it, but was unable to answer, and now it's bugged. I can't call him because he won't pick up, and the mission in the journal says to answer his call. Any help would be appreciated.

You and I are in the same boat, I've done everything that needs to be done in pacifica so there's nothing that trigger the quest. So I can either wait for a fix or restart the entire game, which I already have 70hrs so fml

So disapointing that a bug like this essentially RUINED the entire game for a lotta people

I wouldn't get mad at the Devs, be mad at the management decision to release the game too early. The PC version is pretty stable other than this issue.

Ahahaha. You know what? I stopped playing as corpo cause of this quest and started a street kid lifepath. And what? I can't call Meredith Stout. Same thing. The whole game stopped working for me at all.

I too lost 50 hours of gameplay, and I understand your frustration, but I feel bad for the devs honestly. We just have to wait it out for the next patch. In the meantime, anger serves no one. The devs have a lot on their plate trying to cleanup the mess, so we just have to give it time. If I find a solution, I'll be sure to post it as soon as I can.

But I think, it's strange, that they fixed some quests, which didn't stop your main storyline, but the bug, which doesn't allow you to play at all, they didn't even touch. There's no sence to fix content people can't even see...

Yep it's pretty annoying...

I'm also stuck on answering the call.
Save is over 100 hours and I've almost cleared the map. Going back to last unaffected save would mean losing 40h of completionist gameplay and I'm just not willing to do that.

What's particularly nasty about this bug is that it tells you to wait so I never even realized I was affected and kept on playing, assuming there was some trigger for getting the call.

As a side note, this is the most game breaking bug I've ever run into and I've played Bloodlines near launch. At least there when I hit a critical issue it was a hard crash and I had a console allowing me to advance the quest manually.

Console is a cure from the most of all bugs. That's why bethesda's TES and Fallout never stuck. Players can just skip or reset quests with console if bugged. I started to look for such a solution here, but sadly found nothing.

Starting a new game may not help. I did it and got stuck in the very beginning cause I couldn't call that corpo woman in the mission with stealiting the bot. She didn't answer just like Mr. Hands.
