Map while driving TOO ZOOMED IN

Seriously, I can't see the corners coming and I end up crashing everytime. Map should zoom out way more while you are in the car, GTA IV got this soo right, never missed a turn. Here I keep crashing because, on fast cars, I can't prepare to drift properly.

I agree. There should be more of the map viewable while driving.

Agree with this.

One way to implement would be to dynamically scale the map with vehicle speed.
The faster you go, the more the map zooms out.

This is on my shortlist of things that need fixed ASAP in the 1.05 patch.

+1 to this. Need more of an overview of the map while driving.

Forget GTA V , even google maps has this function it zooms out when we increase speed, and maps in year 2077 dont :( what a bummer

Would love to be able to zoom the minimap out and in.

Honestly would be nice if they added in road follow lines like in Watch Dogs and other games. Without them you spend too much time looking at the map instead of the surroundings. Surely cars would have HUD options in the cyberpunk universe (or at the very least voice navigation like we have in real life now.) so either would make perfect sense in the game.

This really needs to be adjustable. I wouldn't be able to tell you how many times I drove past my turn and had to make a terrible U-turn just to get back on track.

It's funny too because the racing missions have this feature where you see lines of arrows on the road showing you where you need to go. So the system is there, just not implemented on regular driving.

Would be cool too if more expensive cars had fancier navigation systems and the cheaper cars maybe could have glitchy arrows and stuff.

Interesting.. I haven't done any races (didn't even know there were any) so that is strange that it's implemented there but not in regular driving. Yeah.. it definitely needs to be switched over to something like that for normal driving.

Agree!!!!! Man I had to actually start driving really slow to avoid this issue. I sometimes get carried away tho and fly past my turn.. plus the GPS does not offer a fast alt route like google maps gps does.. I find it crazy google maps IRL can beat GPS in a game.. crazy.

Totally agree with that. Ending often turning back with my bike or crashing. Can't enjoy NC while my eyes are on the minimap waiting for the next turn. Give us a minimap where we can see when the next turn comes or make an overlay with arrows.

Agree with the above. GPS should move to a HUD system or similar, or at least show a meters to and direction for next turn. or zoom out while in car.

I highly suspect they do that in the races because those races are always a set path, whereas if you set a route for driving the path will be different and can change if you miss a turn or go a different direction.

Driving a fast car will bug my game out causing low poly NPCs and AI failures and of course I miss turns because the minimap. I avoid driving as much as possible as the vehice handling is terrible and when I do drive I pick slower vehicles. Such a disgrace.

Bring the driving line from the racing missions into normal navigation
